Moving into the ground...

Ok so it's time to transplant some of my seedlings into bigger containers. I was thinking instead of buying large pots or buckets it would be cheaper just to dig holes and line them with black garbage bags. I can't really make up my mind on bags in ground vs pot/bucket. If I use bags should I cut holes in the bottom for drainage? I'm growing in a very low lying area and it could end up mushy in the mid-summer, could I avoid drowning my plants by lining the holes with vermiculite first?

It's nice to be able to move my plants around, especially if someone stumbles onto my grow.

Should I just spend some money on buckets/pots, I could still dig those into the ground I suppose to blend in better.

if your growing lots of plants you should go with garbage bags cuz its hard to carry that many pots to your site

Well I have 12 as of right now, and even if I did pots I would be able to get them there .

So I continue to flip flop on pots vs. in ground in bags, I'm trying to make a decision tonight/tomorrow as a few need to move. Seeking insight from inspirational people .

why do you want to use bags. i just dig a 1 sq ft hole about 1 ft deep and then fill it in. natural drainage plus all the soil in nature is organic. mostly.... haha

I think it's whatever you prefer really... whether it be digging a hole and lining it to keep the nutrients retained or not lining and allowing for more root space.

Ok well I think I'm gonna actually end up in pots or large buckets. I like the feeling of being able to move things around. I'll be back later today or tomorrow with some pics.
