moving the plants to the attic~!

in a few weeks im moving the plants to the attic..its pretty cool out right now so im hoping the 600watter will heat it up a bit..anyone have any experience with this..will the smell come through the ceiling or anything am i gonna need to still carbon it? and one more question will it be ok to finish veg off with an hps for a couple weeks..i dont want to spend the money on the MH bulb right now

you've got it backwards bud. You wanna use your mh for vegging and your hps for flowering. The mh promotes growth while the hps keeps the nodes and growth closer together.

Try taking black plastic and frame in a smaller room in your attic. I would definently vent with a carbon scrubber. If you make your room smaller than the attic it will be so much easier to control the elements of your enviroment.

yeah i meant do you think it would still be ok to finish the veg with an hps and continue flowering when its time with the hps..i dont want to buy the mh bulb right now..its only gonna be for a few weeks

HPS is ok for vegging. Not quite as good as MH, but it will get the job done.
