last year was my first harvest, and i harvested oct 10, except 2 i let go 5 days longer, however last year i believe they were all sativa dom hybrids. this year i plan to harvest a little at a time as they gradually ripen, as all my plants arent gonna be ready at the same time. but im figuring i should have some about done by the last week in sept, i have about 5 plants already a week or 2 in flower, and then it will be a take down process. im gonna do things a little different this year with drying and harvest, i trimmed wet last year and in turn believe i dried too fast, so i plan to go through and take off the bigger fan leaves, leaving the smaller leaves close up around the bud on, hang them up, and then cure them in bins as wheezer does

check out wheezers current grow, i got the idea from him, he posted exactly how he does it.
I'm going to try that with at least a bin or two. I have mason jars for the rest. I don't like the idea of storing in plastic but "you can put it away till your ready to trim it" sounds mighty good if you have a healthy grow like we do :)

Fresno - Long term storage in mylar-lined buckets with gamma lids may be an idea. I have extra of those (I am a shtf prepper, lol) and am thinking of curing in the bins and transfer into those for about half my harvest. The other half (and smaller pieces) I'll use the paper bag method and store in jars.

Mr. MJ, sorry if I derailed your thread but these bigger grows have me a little anxious about how to handle harvest and storage this year.
