Mr Souls Organic Tea

New and Improved with Kelp and Black Strap Molasses

Guano Tea and Kelp:

Seedlings less than 1 month old nute tea mix-
5 tbs. Black Strap Molasses
1-cup earthworm castings/5 gallons of water every 3rd watering

Veg mix-
1/3 cup Peruvian Seabird Guano (PSG)
1/3 cup High N Bat Guano (Mexican)
1/3 cup Earth Worm Castings (EWC)
5 tsp. Maxicrop 1-0-4 powdered kelp extract
5 tbs. Liquid Karma
5 tbs. Black Strap Molasses
@ 1-cup mix/5 gallons of water every 3rd watering.

Flowering nute tea mix:
2/3 cup Peruvian Seabird Guano
2/3 cup Earth Worm Castings
2/3 cup High P Guano (Indonesian or Jamaican)
5 tbs. Maxicrop 1-0-4 powdered kelp extract
5 tbs. Black Strap Molasses
@ 2 cups/5 gallons of water EVERY watering.
You can use queen size knee high nylon stockings for tea bags. 3 pair for a dollar at the dollar store. Tell 'em you use them for paint strainers. Put the recommended tea in the stocking, tie a loop knot in it and hang it in your tea bucket. The tea should look like a mud puddle. Agitate the bag in the water vigorously. An aquarium pump and air stone will dissolve oxygen into the solution and keep the good bacteria (microherd) alive and thriving. Let it bubble a day or two before you use it. If you find you are making too much tea and having to throw it out, use 2 1/2 gallons of water and cut the nute amount by half.

just starting organics got my seeds(kosher, fruity chronic juice, bubba 76,OG) in the soil(L.W.) and my super soil(+1Subcool) cookin out back . so theres organic soil recipes where you really need to feed that much ? i thought the soil was supposed to do all the work in organics ? but i just started organic this month so im still learning .

I've seen liquid karma suggested by others as well, but I don't exactly know what it's supposed to do even after reading all their info the their website.

It it an enzyme product or microbial inoculate, or something else entirely?

The only tea I still believe worthwhile is microbial tea (ACT). For organics I have been having much more success mixing the ferts into the soil ahead of time rather than watering it in. When you water in guanos the soluble parts dissolve and feed the plant but the granular parts just sit on the top and dry out rendering them useless to the plant and the microbes.

It is also much cheaper to use granular ferts like Epsoma and kelp meal rather than the liquid ferts. I still water in blackstrap molasses on a regular basis though. Good luck!
