well, that pretty much sums it up...what do you all think? i mean with is undisputed growing populartiy, the new movie comin out, and plus thats all you see anyone doin anymore, especially on their phones. its almost as if nobody has real interaction/conversations anymore...

i myself dont have one, but ive been hearin alot in the news about people whining to the government about privacy issues and blah blah...but isn't one supposed to know that anything put on the internet, isnt private?

ive also been hearing at the same time, its being used also as a monitoring tool for probation officers and managers of all corporations...but isnt it yet still ones right to publicize their beliefs, through no matter what medium, without persecution?

so whats everyones opinion on it? horror stories?

meh I dont have any problems with facebook, I use it to talk to people and it gets the job done fine. just use it what its meant for you'll be fine in my opinion. too many people go overboard with it which is why I think people have problems.

what i was referring to is that there are people getting fired from their jobs from the stuff they have on their MS/FB...apparently they may have some things that give the company a bad name or ill representation...

people tend have more balls when its behind a screen with their ideas...be it via texting, computer, etc...this is evident, because of all the stupid pointless status and moods...not to mention SO much shit talkin its unbelievable....you ever want to get into someones head? go visit their page (moreso myspace than facebook, as theres more customization)...favorite music, birthday, where they live, hobbies...u can really size someone up this way...and they have that right, after all, it IS their profile...

but again, anything put on the internet, isnt public...so what im sayin is, SHOULD companies be allowed to fire you if you post a pic of you smokin a fattie over the weekend in your albums? typically, its a dont ask-dont tell policy in the workplace, but are you really "telling", through this medium?

Myspace is for kids. If you're an adult and you have a myspace, you're retarded. Or a pedo. Period.

Facebook is also pure faggotry, but it is a good way to hook up with people you haven't seen in years.

If you like hearing people talk about how they hate Mondays, it's awesome. If you like hearing people talk about how they're craving a latte, it's awesome. If you like hearing people talk about how much they're enjoying the latte and muffin they just picked up at Starbuck's, it's awesome. If you like hearing people talk about what they may or may not cook for dinner, it's awesome. If you like Farmville, you should kindly go kill yourself, but it's awesome.

Just remember that you are creating a public record of all your deeds, and act accordingly, and you'll be fine.

I agree, I've been thinking about ppls obsession with these sites too lately. It just baffles me as to how easy ppl will surrender thier privacy, I don't need every random stranger knowing every single detail of my life as if they would even care anyway. I realy DON"T wanna run into anyone from HS. guess thats why I'm turned off to the idea. I like being able to to start on a fresh slate with new acquaintances.

And always remember that just because you delete a post doesn't mean it's gone. Folks love to take screen caps and save them for later.

I refuse to have either. If I wanna talk to someone I call or text. If I don't have your number...well that sucks. Fuck em. Twitter is insanely fucking stupid. Fuck.
