I forgot to look but you're only like 6 weeks into flower right? Lookin good - those buds will continue to swell and swell. Love how the entire grow is miracle grow and CFLs - proof that all a plant needs is love

Ha yea, for the last few months it was just me and Where the Hell am I. No one else seemed to care, it was a little discouraging.

Yea, today is day 58 from sprout! I started 12/12 on Day 14 so today is day 44 of flower, week 6! I'm pretty amazed myself at the performance of the indoor CFL growth. I was really worried a week or so ago when my buds were puny but they have really started to take off this week!

i've been watching for a long time now....i'm just not one to comment much. but your grow has been particularly interesting to me as i am growing under similar conditions (cfls and miracle grow). it really does look awesome, so good work man!

Please, brah! I have been here w/ya since the beginning, and ya will regret it if ya dont listen to me on this 1!!!! We've come so far, lets make this all the way nice :weed:

You know better than anyone (with the results you've had) so I'll do as you advise. In 10 days instead of chopping, I'll flush and let it ride 2 more weeks! Thanks for the advise and all the support you gave me during this grow!

Yea, I've been watching that grow. I'm gonna be dropping 10 Afghani Kush trees in the ground for my guerrilla grow this summer. Where I am I have to wait until early May to plant.

Just playing around with the camera. I couldn't get the camera close enough to the cola and hold it steady so I focused the trich pictures on an outer bud.

Lookin great! try to put your plant near the edge of somethign stable that you can put the camera on. I have to just take tons and tons of pics and hope a few turn out ok.

I'm confused bout the flushing part. The pot is 5 gallons so how much water is needed for this final flushing process? I've been told 3 times the pot's volume but that would be 15 gallons and there's no way I'm going to drown my plant in 15 gallons of water.

I flush w/ 3 x's the amount that I normally water with. Works gr8 every time. After yer flush, ya will do 1 more watering (normal amount, just water), then let her dry out til ya chop her

Sounds good to me, I usually water with 1g so I'll flush with 3g.

Last weekend I snipped a small bud and let it dry this week. Smoked it last night and it was awful; really harsh and the high was weak and lasted only about 30-40 minutes so there's no question its not close to being done. Today starts week 7 of flowering.

This Week's Thoughts
Ok, so I decided to try out the goods this weekend. I plucked a bud from the tree back last week and let it dry all week. I smoked it on Friday and Saturday and it was harsh. The high was weak and lasted only about 30 minutes. Needless to say, I'm really, really glad I didn't harvest the plant as I was intending.

Anyhow, I added an extra hour to the night cycle to convince the plant that winter is coming. Most of the leaves are yellow and falling off. This baby is definitely near its end of life. I can't really tell from my photos but it doesn't appear that I have amber trichs yet so I'll just let her ride as others have suggested.

Hey thanks Gastanker! Yea that cola is getting HUGE! For these pictures I put the plant next to my entertainment shelf in front of a window to try to show scale.

This Week's Thoughts

Years ago when I grew outside it was a really simple matter. Germ some seeds on the back porch and then plant them out in the woods in a clearing. Water then every few weeks if its too dry and then chop them down in October when the leaves are mostly gone and the plant looks dead.

Indoors growing gives you so much control and because the grow room is accessible all the time I find myself obsessing over this plant. I almost chopped several times but instead each week I harvest a single nug and try it out. My last 2 nugs have been no where near as potent as my outdoors crops used to be so I'll just continue along this path until the potency is right or the plant dies!
