so i just set up my starting chamber to start my seeds in. I will keep them here for 2-3 weeks then move them outdoors to grow tall over the summer. strain is a mix of unknown bagseed. one group comes form a very skunky bud and the other is a very light green bud that is sllightly more trippy then the skunk. both have great flavors.

Only using 4 26watt CFLs now on indoor herb garden till late march when beans will be going in jiffy pots with miracle grow seed starter.

k so i got bored and sprouted one bagseed in paper towel and it cracked after two days. just put it in a jiffy pot with miracle grow organic seed starter. THIS SEED IS JUST TO SEE IF ILL HAVE TO RAISE THE PLANTS LEVEL BECAUSE THE 4 CFLS ARE AT LEAST 12 INCHES ABOVE. All of my other herbs havent stretched so i should be ok i think. later.

will put up pics in about a week

still just tuning cabinet for march when ill sprout all of my outdoor crop.

current temps will go between 81.6-81.8
humidity stays around 48-50%

tommorrow im gonna get a small fan to vent air from around lights to hopefully lower temps into the 70's but i dont wanna drop humidity to much. PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT! BUDS THAT IS

put in two seeds and have two sprouts about 3 inches tall each. also got some general liquid plant food. its rating is 12-4-8. testing it out on these two by every third watering giving it nutrients. also because the jiffy pots will get soggy if i drench them i give them about 20 cc's of water a day. peace be with you

ok so quick update i had two sprouts that were about 3 inches tall and i was testing out the plant food i got using full strength solution one has died. i now know when i start my real grow i need to use a half strength solution for the weeks i have them indoors. im glad i learned this now.

also it has been very very cold in the south today it snowed and as a result my temps now dip into the high 60's with lights off. when spring gets closer im sure the temps will stabilize around the high 70's. later peeps.

the actual light hanger and cord can be found at homedepot. $5-$7
the y splitters and blue spec cfl are both in the lighting department at walmart. but you could get it at HD to. all together ive spent maybe 20 bucks.

i hope it get warmer here soon. i hate the month or so before the last frost date. it takes soooo long to pass

as you can see its just a simple clamp light. usualy they have sometype of relfector but i took it off

switched to 12/12 just a second ago. hopefully it will tell me the sex of this one plant. if this works it will make growing so much easier because i wont have to root out males later in the summer. now im off to clear out my spot.

k .... good news. i think its safeto say that my baby is a female. there are very small pistils coming out at the base of each branch. so now i have switched back to 18/6 so it will revert back to veg.

here in a couple of weeks i will more than likely cut my baby in two and treat the top as if it were a clone. we'll c how it goes.

also...im not growing just one plant. i will be starting a bunch of seeds here in the next few weeks so stay tuned for more. peace love

so today and yesterday were sad days..... b/c we are selling our house and showing it to people i made the decision to put maleek out early. its three weeks b4 our last frost date but hopefully it will survive. if not its not a big deal because ive already started 4 more that have popped the surface and are about an inch tall
