multiple plants in one pot, i need some advice

If anything all you'd have to do is trim back the foliage to keep the canopy level and maybe hang a light next to any weaklings but that would buy you enough time to get some clones for sure............ unless a plant just don't wanna live.

I have to agree, you do not need to flower a plant to show sex, usually plants from seed show sex after 4-6 weeks of vegitative growth. They will show pre-flowers, you really need to look at them closely and know what to look for, but if you know what to look for it's really quite easy.

No doubt difference in opinions truley comes through on these forums. In the end it's all about growin the herb we all love. There's many many ways to grow, and when it's all said and done, it comes down to what works best for u in ur particular situation. Different strokes for different folks. :peace: to all :joint:

What works best for an individual grower is all well and good, but there are most definitely techniques that have the most potential. Aeroponics is a good example.

To get back to offering suggestions as to how to separate the plants.
I would do it ASAP , I would get a 5 Gal. bucket , fill it half way with room temp water, then take your pot with all of the seedlings in it, turn it upside down ,holding the top of the soil, thump the sides until the root ball comes out , then put the whole mess in the 5 gallon bucket , let it sit for a while , the water bath should assist you in separating the individual plants. Let us know how it all turns out.

hey man, I'm on my first grow, and did the exact same thing, I had 4 in a long box, all 4 turned out to be female so I had to transplant, the roots were pretty tangled up and I just pulled them apart, basically just ripping them, they were my 4 best looking plants, after transplanting the other 2 females I had that had been in there own pot the whole time ended up looking way better than the 4, I think it just stunted their growth really bad, anyway sorry for the long response but thought it might help you since I been there, good luck with them!

Ok I've decided that I'm just going to flower them and clone the females. Thanks everybody for all of your input. I didn't even think about cloning til now.

clone them b4 your flower(you wont know which ones are female at this point) because it will be more stressful on the clones to switch back to a vegging state. if you end up with male plants you can just kill the clones just label them well, problem solved

Ok I'm a litle confused. I want to clone the females but I'm not sure what to do. Do I just leave them in veg at 18/6 until they show their sex or do I start to flower them with 12/12?
