so I’m topping my plants for the 2nd time (topped them first time 12 days ago). Anyway I’m going to top them at least once more, so I was going to cut the 2 x new auxiliary buds to create 4.
Anyway I’m curous what some of you experienced growers who top your plants multiple times would say as far as where you’d recommend cutting it - directly under the very newest growth or down farther so you’re cutting off the new growth and the set of leaves below it (see pic)??
I know that the higher up you cut the less stress it gives the plant, but not sure if it’s better to cut lower for thicker stem.
