What Buck doesn't get is 99.9% of the time those who say they're anti-racist are just on the "the white man did it," bandwagon. Those who are truly anti-racist don't feel the need to advertise it, since they know that in itself actually fuels racism.

That's not where I got the picture, it was from Google Images. But it was wrong of me to post that picture. Fighting bad karma with more bad karma only gives me bad karma. It's up to you to cultivate and purge those evil thoughts from your head. I can only let you know, and the other person has to accept what their actions are. I apologize for my rude actions, for they are my own. Maybe one day you'll understand.
Racism is against the core tenants of Buddhism. You can't achieve harmony and enlightenment if you have unharmonious thoughts. All life is sacred, no matter the species or race.
I'll no longer troll people, no matter how much I previously thought they deserved it. Because those actions don't bring you a stillness of mind, and only cause more of those thoughts to surface while cultivating during meditation. It's been hard for me, but I'm getting there.

will people suddenly be unable to notice a speeding truck where it shouldn't be and possibly get out of its way?
not sure he could afford a plow truck as easily as he could a gun either, so there's also that.
i've noticed a speeding car coming directly at me many times, i've been very successful at getting out of its way every time. if each car was a bullet, i'd probably have a much lower chance of getting out of its way once i noticed it.

I do know that since Obama got in office the hate & division has ratcheted up to almost early 1900's Texas levels...
...its almost as if the right/conservatives is reacting/over reacting the all the political correctness/I'm OK/your're OK liberal mandates lately...

Guess it depends on how you define "criminal". According to the norm (that would not include most RIU posters), he has a long criminal record and was predisposed to a life of crime from an early age. After killing and mauling that crowd IN A STOLEN CAR he then tried to flee on foot!
Records show that Owens had been convicted numerous times in recent years, including offenses for minor under the influence and criminal trespass. In 2010, Owens was arrested by the Killeen school district Police Department for criminal trespass. While living in Alaska in 2011, Owens was arrested for driving under the influence and leaving the scene of an accident. He pleaded guilty to the DUI charge, but prosecutors dismissed the fleeing offense.

Rashad Charjuan Owens, a 21-year-old from Killeen, Texas, was arrested after trying to flee the scene on foot. He had initially been stopped at a DWI checkpoint, then in an attempt to evade police, plowed into pedestrians occupying a closed-off street. He faces two counts of capital murder and 23 counts of aggravated assault with a motor vehicle. Formal charges are still pending, Austin Police Department said in a statement.
If convicted, Owens could face the death penalty. The victims names have been released.
The San Antonio Express-News reports that Owens has a criminal record. In 2010, he was convicted of criminal trespassing in Killeen. The following year, he was charged with driving under the influence of marijuana in Fairbanks, Alaska, and also leaving the scene of an accident, a charge that was later dismissed. According to the police report, he told officers he'd lost control of the SUV in that incident and "drove off because he didn't know he had to call police."
Other details have come to light as well, sourced from Owens' Facebook page see photos of him below and family members. Local newspaper the American-Statesman, who broke the news of the suspect's identity, say Owens was set to perform at Club 1808 near Chicon Street and 12th. During the tragic event, he'd turned from Ninth onto the closed-off Red River, barelled through a barricade, then crashed near East 11th.
Andrew Barmwell, a soldier stationed at Fort Hood in Killeen, reported his car stolen with local police earlier that day.....
Top it off, this low life fathered 6 kids! THANK GOD these genetics are off the streets. Here's hoping this shit-stain of a genetic pool is given death.
I feel sorry for the kids but in the black community it's the typical cycle that never ends. Blacks have more children out of wedlock and children out of wedlock, fatherless, are more prone to a life of crime. That is a statistical fact.

Capital murder here in Texas is pretty much an automatic death sentence.
True enough but there are usually plea deals if they dont go to trial.

So in 3 years a 21 year old is arrested 3 times. While I agree it seems petty to point out, they have only been keeping score for 3 years, likely would be 8+ arrests by 26 if pattern wasn't disrupted by a more serious event!
I gotta admit, the first thing that popped into my head when this new broke was some billy bob white boy! Damn, does that make me a racist? No that's not possible, most of my friends are white!
