so i just noticed a little mushroom growing in the pot with my clone. i have a clear cup lid over it as a propogation dome, and theres also a little bit of green algy. how bad is this little mushroom, and should i do anything besides pluck it, like fungicide? any feedback apreciated. it almost looked like another sprout without the seedshell of yet.

dude, check my grow journal. i had a couple mushrooms in a pot. ever since, the plant just stopped growing so i tossed it. but then again, i think it could have stopped growing because it was the runt since sprout.

Pull that fungus out of there. Its not doing any good for the plant. If you can puts some hydroton around the plants, that might help with the algae some.Hope you get it under control. PEACE

I just had a mushroom growing in a little 6 inch pot and its easily the healtiest plant in the growroom. I used my mushroom guide and keyed it out to an Orange-mat Coprinus, Coprinus Radiens. The guide says that they grow on wet wood. I think mushrooms are good beacuse most soil mushrooms are saphrotrophic breaking down dead material that is useless to the plants into nutrients that the plant can absorb.
