music for the plants?

has anyone tried playing some music to create a nice growing environment for their plants? i saw something on tv about this and they say it makes the plants grow bigger snd stronger. can anyone validate this?

yeah I seen a test they did on MYTHBUSTERS one time doing exactly that and it did work, I think it had something to do with vibration but I'm not really sure as I kept flicking back and forth through the channels but ROCK and ROLL was the music they responded to most

I have 2 mixes on my itunes for my plants depending on my mood. On one mux i have miles davis and john coltran and on the other one i have various classical songs....it seems to be working amazing.

Mostly to hide any fan noise

I have been playing classical for my babies since seedlings. I did read somewere also, that they respond to the vibrations...

It couldnt possible be that much, even if you play for 24 hours a day like i do, i just use a cheap radio and put it on the classical station. Also oyu can get one ran by battery....

the louder the better... Your rite on Mythbusters, they were sayin its most likely the vibrations from the sound waves stimulating the insides of the plant... and the plant likes it! but THE LOUDER THE BETTER! SO TURN ON YOUR BEST PANTERA/ METALLICA/ TWISTED SISTERS(lol)/ CRADLE OF FILTH MIX AND HOOK EM UP TO 3 15'' SUBS AND BLOW YOUR PLANTS AWAY! im actually about to get one of those hilarious lil radio shack FM radios that are like an inch or two tall and just leave it by my plant!!!

Must play them bob marley. Thats thier native tounge. The girls favorite song is natural mystic. Except for Asia.. she likes natty dread

I mean I love Bob Marley, Tosh, etc etc etec and thats what u play for them 75% of the time. but the other time they gotta get crunk. cant be chillin alll the time, even tho they work a hard 12/12 they still need that friday night slut weekend equivilant.
