Purple punch is great in a cross but for the most part purple punch is meh on potency

I've seen Runtz get a nod of approval from a bunch of respected breeders and growers, alot more than have vouched for punch thats for sure and the price for a cut has come way down.
I got her in week 2-3 outdoor, smelling pretty dang good and gets frosty early.
DEO farms got the 2021 hype strains like the zoap, RS11, etc.

Oreoz is straight fire in a cross, pure michigan is a great strain it's oreoz x mendobreath f2. Fuck...3rd coast whole line up with the oreoz x's is all heat. Just heard oreoz by itself had phenos with bland terps. Never grew the oreoz by itself, knew a few that did though. Oreoz brings the frost no doubt about it.

So back to weed, are the new 2021 proclaimed “elite” crosses really any better than the elite crosses of 5 or 10 years ago? Or is it just another round of the stereotypical canna-hype and smoke and mirrors marketing to sell the latest drops for excessive margins? Maybe I’m too old school but I just don’t get all the hype.
I wonder if the tomato growing forum members get all worked up over the latest beefsteak x roma drops...lol.

Really want to find some Rootbeer Crosses , Never had it. I got some Banana terps finally which I never had. Got a Ice cream banana growing from Sin Citys smelling pretty good giving off that authentic artificial banana smell almost.
