I just started another plant 2 days ago, and this thing is just only a sprout, but somehow there is a root coming out the bottom of what it is in. It is one long root that I can tell so far. It must me about 3 and a half inches long or so. Is this a really good thing? Could it be bad? Has anyone ever had rooting like this so early into growing? Here is a pic of the plant itself and the root. By the way I haven't given this plant any nutrients. All I did was germinated it and then planted it in the hydro system in a little soil.

depending on soil, it may very well be vegetation from somthing already in the soil.

Well that is a good point, but I checked the soil very carefully and went through the little bit I had put in before I put the seed in it.

lol..yeah 2 days..but regardless of whether of not that was meant as a joke the seed is a bag seed from some pretty good shit I smoked a couple months ago. No one ever said what strain it was or anything. I just smoked it and it got me pretty ripped. Wish I had pics of the actual bud it came from
