Hodgegrown, awesome thread man, my eyes are burning from reading through the whole thing. I am convinced that northern CA is the place for me. I am finishing up my graduate degree that will allow me to tellecommute for work, and then its off to the forest for me. Any advice?? I have been looking from Sacramento to Redding.

I love that you build wooden frames around your ladies to support their beautiful flowers. Very impressive my friend. I won't take up anymore of your space. Come check out my journal sometime.

Glad to see you got your camara back and working. Also noticed you got some new wood going up around the girls. They are looking good and in need of a little support. I love that idea.

Reason I asked was because I'm also doing a cover crop and was curious to temp control. Were due warmer weather and am worried about burning the plants while covered with the black plastic? So far have noticed a little burn in the leaf tips but nothing serious, hope to finish them off in next couple weeks?:o

My friend Nuggs put it up for me, they work great and have saved me lots of branch's. It's finely getting hot up here and the girls seem to love it, will take pics (with new camera) today and post this evening..

I want to know you're watering and feeding regiment Hodge. you could write a book on this :blsmoke:
Send 3.99 to, lol. I feed twice a week, 2 tsp per gallon of water, two of those once plant is three foot or so. Water almost daily, between 5 and 10 gallons per plant, more when temps are in the 100s.:peace:

amazing, no longer am I gonna refer to it as a "garden" but rather a forest!;-) haha
I'll take that as a compliment, these latest pics were taken by my son who stands over 6 ft tall,:wall:. Will take more pics this weekend and use a person as a reference to plants heights.:blsmoke:
