Yeah it's a damn shame those buds are compost. If you didn't have so much a little discard aint bad though. However they would make someone happy that was down to smoking roaches. I just don't think I'd risk getting that dead organic matter in my hash bags. <unless that was all I had> ha I was reading about those smart bags and it said they were better than raised beds and I thought about your grow. ha, no way better. Anyhoo, sad to see all the girls come down but congrats on the harvest. catch you later, slabhead :leaf:

Thanks Slab, yea the worms got some but it's just nature getting her cut..lol Had a friend use a 100 gallon smart pot and he yielded a bit over 5 lbs from a purple power.

I remember my roach jar(s), back when I smoked I would fill a couple of 1 gallon jars by Feb or so, come spring I would be picking thru the shake bags and by summer the roach jars.lol :peace:

Haha. .. I remember the roach bag too. We would roill joints from the roaches and get 2nd 3rd and 4th generation joints. Boy did they get resinous. Glad you got all of them down. The bud rot is a total loss. It probably has trichs on it but the rotted organic matter wont give it a good taste. I threw all mine on the compost pile.

It's been dry down here for the past 3 days and all the bud rot on the remaining plants was dried crispy. So I went out and removed it from the plants easily. I probably still have some more but I will get it when I trim. All mine will be down by Sun. Check out my final pics. Wont be long til I make my way up there. Tell Momma she done good :bigjoint:

Hi Greenthumb, Yea I'm gonna toss all the molded bud. I've got a bunch of air bud to go with the shake so should make some interesting product.

Just a shame about the damage to those nice big fat buds. worms are on my shit list for next grow..lol:peace:

Hey hodge can you answer a few questions for me, im kinda a noobie.

1) How often are your plants watered?
2) What fertilizers do you use?
3) What soil do you use?
4) Should i plant my girls straight into the ground next year or should i put them in pots?
5) Do you spray the plants leaves when you water or jus the soil around the plant?
6) The question i would love to know the answer to more than any other question, what are some things i can do to garantee that i will have the success you have had?

I would really love to have a great yeild next year and some great smoke :) Thanks Man

Hey Stoner93,

1. I water almost daily.

2. Only Max-Sea products.

3. Super soil, chicken manure and mulch.

4. I plant into pots first till their sexed.

5. Water the roots only, can hose the whole plant while it's in veg state.

6. Human sacrafice...lol just kidding.. Have fun and you'll do alright.

no, but that is when they typically show....... might be a good idea to start your own thread to ask questions, and they can all be answered there in nice long rows, so your not clogging our friend Hodgegrowns journal ;)
