Well when the skys are clear, how many hours of direct sunlight would you say your ladies get? Im guessin A LOT, cuz they are growing so fast.....the sun hits my girls around 9 o clock and they are shaded by 3 o clock:-|
I would guess from about 9 am to dark. Had a rain shower today but no damage to girls, think they enjoyed it.:peace:

I didn't have any problems with rain. Where i live in norcal it gets windy, but last night there wasnt any rain. I had a little bit today for about five minutes and none since but is still overcast outside. I live an hour north of SF. I have some gdp outdoors this year, and this is the best strain that i have going this year, my biggest one is about three or four feet and still has until october:hump:. Anyway your plants are going to be monstyers as usual. Good luck to you and your wife and stay medicated.bongsmiliebongsmilie:eyesmoke::eyesmoke:

Glad to hear it, we have 2 branches that had to be tied up. Got between 3 and 4 tenths of an inch here but thank goodness no real damage. It's the hail that hurts.... I have a GDP cross that we have been growing for 6 seasons now, I like the taste of this cross, (blueberry) its originally from Mendo. Just picked up some new beans, one called Black and the other I have to keep secret until a later date..Think I'm gonna need a bigger yard. lol.:peace:

wish I had raised beds......
Glad to see your back, hope all is well with your family? This weather sucks, overcast with rain predicted here. Wind is picking up as I type and that has me worried. Wife spent 2 plus hours tieing up the girls after Wed nights storm. I had 6 or 7 plants that went into flower, only 1 in the beds, so we are going to do a cover crop with them and see what we get. Got to see some pics of the girls I sent up north, looking good will post pics when I figure out how to download them....:weed:

Nice to hear that you have even more plants to add to your forest. I look forward to seeing how big you can get everything again. Also I think that were done for rain, maybe some this weekend. Anyway Good luck on everything.bongsmilie:eyesmoke:bongsmilie:eyesmoke:

We place praying mantis egg sacs in the garden, ants are not a problem, grasshoppers the mantis eat. Ladybugs are used for mites and aphids. I've used caterpillar killer in the liquid form and sevin dust when plants are small.:wall:

I have no idea how I wasn't scribed to this thread sooner! I'm in North. Cal too and my girls got hit by the rain and hail pretty bad the other night. surprised my little girls are still standing after that storm. I've never seen so much precipitation at once before. had to tie my bigger ones up and give them some support as well. definitely scribed tho Hodge! your ladies are looking beautiful. excited to see how this one turns out :bigjoint:

Amazing how much abuse these things can endure. We had to do some tieing here also, but that's part of growing. Good luck with your grow and I'll be checking in on you..:hump:

We had two branches that weren't broke but had to tie them up cause of the weight. When you get a break it's important to seal it before pest or mold can get into the plant. I use tree tar and have found it to serve all my needs. :peace::mrgreen:
