LOL, my friend you must really like pickles... Try specialty glass, decent price but the shipping about doubles the price...:peace:
If I only needed a couple of jars I would do that witht the pickles but my luck would be pickled pot, lol. I just order from ULINE.com. They are a little cheaper than Speciality but as Hodge said the shipping is what does it, I got a dozen for $5.99/bottle including tax and shipping.

just wonderin what strains u have cut down and maybe a bud pic of each? if you dont mind

congrats again and glad to hear the pesky robbers are at bay for now
Thanks Hooked, we have only trimmed 2 varieties as of this post a (big bud x orange hair) we call crooked prairie and a small white queen (amsterdam seeds) she's a bit early but will get some pics to post up tonight.

Change of plans with cutting down plants, were only taking 5 in because the others are not quite ready. Figured to wait and see how the storm does, we can always cut if we have to.Couple of the boys working to get some tied up before the storm.. :peace:

Hey Hodge-
We are batting down the hatches here too. Weather man says VERY BIG STORM heading our way, but they always hype these storms up. In the past the weather man would predict a huge storm and they would always seen to fall short of their expectations. T.V. ratings i guess. This storm may be different, I guess it's left over moisture from a Typhoon. Sounds like it may do what they think it will,....dunno,....well see. Weather man says 3-5 inches of rain on Tuesday......YIKES! Way to early for that.
Good luck on storm control/damage prevention, sounds like you have your hands full. Be careful of thieves during a HUGE rain storm, pouring rain can make for good coverage for them rat bastards. Hard to hear/see through big winds/down pours.
You must feel like a Juggler about now?

Yea been all over and back with what to do? Just giong to weather it out (no Pun intended) and lets see what happens? My nephew covered his with plastic sheeting and I think that's not going to work, more of a chance that the wind blows it and the plant it's tied too away.

Have a couple of guards posted out and 5 dogs so I'm not expecting too much at this time. With the camera set up. it's sweet not having to get up and check every time the dogs bark, I'm getting spoiled..lol :peace:
At least the storm can help hide the shotgun blast. Fuckin' rippers. Good luck with that storm.[/QUOTE.. Thanks Slab, locked and loaded..

Do you deliver to the Yosemite area?
I guess you figured out a way to get rid of that "Skunky" smell that's been lingering around the house the last couple of months. How are you going to get that pickle smell out of the jars/lids?

Thanks Toke and Ironman, Storm was a real bitch with lots and lots of rain. Only a few real bad wind gusts here, lost 2 of my dog kennels, (blown 60 plus feet) and mangled. Tarps acted like sails and I was watching it has it happened. 2 of my dogs were a bit shaken but unharmed.

My son lost his largest plant, (fell over) so we brought it in, little early but should still be good. My garden took quite a bit of rain but I don't think it's all that bad. Will have to go thru the whole thing in the morning when it's dryer and do a better assessment..fingers crossed.. Wind is light right now so that's a plus, will help dry the buds.

Lots of little branches laying down but the frames really keep the majority of the plant intact. Thanks Nuggs, ( was his idea) and they saved me big time. Will take some new pics tomorrow and post up.. :peace:

Hey Hodge, have they contacted you about this yet? Sure sounds familiar!

From the Sac Bee:

Alleged pot-stealing cop posers arrested in Nevada County
From Bill Lindelof:
Two men suspected of identifying themselves as police and then stealing marijuana have been arrested in Nevada County.
The Nevada County Sheriff's Department said about 4 a.m. Saturday they responded to a home on Keenan Way between Lake of the Pines and Grass Valley near Highway 49 to investigate a reported home invasion robbery.
Deputies said Tuesday that three men knocked on the front door of the residence and said they were law enforcement officers. The suspects then entered the home, took marijuana and hit a resident of the home on the head with a blunt object.
Detectives later arrested two of the three men suspected in the robbery, Christopher Lee Brooks, 26, and Robert Madsen, 30, at a home in the 100 block of King Court in Grass Valley. They are suspected of robbery, burglary, assault and false imprisonment.
Detectives are still looking for a third suspect.

Haven't heard about this.. When they hit my home, they were all wearing bandanna's so has to hide their identity. That's why I think it was someone who could have been known by either myself or one of the three others who were here.

Here's a shot of 1 of 2 branches that broke, have the boys tieing things up as I type and it's starting to rain again. This plant can be brought in but 1 more week and she'll be top notch..
