Okay, so i was using CFL and fluro tubes but once i added up all the money i spent on light bulbs and fixtures and plugs and all that other shit i realized i could have bought an HPS system. but while searching at Menards I saw some outdoor security lights. So i thought, hmmmm maybe it could work.

I didnt want to put the light vertically cause i wanted to maximize the shine of light. So what i di was bought a 24" piece of 1"x4" piece of lumber, bolted the light after wiring to plug to the board, attached some hanging hooks on the opposite side and i cut the plastic shield in half. I then lined the remaining half of plastic shield with aluminum foil to maximize reflectivity. the results, a bright ass do it yourself HPS lamp. Not to mention they also have MH too. Plus Plus, the bulb is included.

let me know if this helps anyone.

Thanks, it seems to be having a positive effect on my plant. But it gets so hit. It's hovering around 90 degrees. That's too hot. So I need some suggestions on a better air ventilation system. Like I'm talking a DIY type of thing.

Current I'm using my floor vent covered with some plastic so I could direct all the air (I have my fan from the heating/AC thingy. It's working, it cools it to about 87ish. But i think I need a more practical method. It's an apartment so if I need to cut some holes in the drywall or something I can. But prefer not to:

Please, any ideas will be appreciated.
