So..... as the title states. I'm starting a new thread. This will be filled with pics and info from my future grows.

I'm using a 1x0.5x1.8m lighthouse max tent. I have 3 vero 29s 3000k running at 1.4a so roughly 51w a piece. I don't have a killawatt meter or anything of the sort. I will invest one day but not really a concern of mine at minute.

This round I will be growing 2 amnesia and 2 white widow. Both are collected from friends or bag seed. The white widow genetics are old. They are taking a while to pop.

I'm using straight coco this time as soil is just that little to slow for me. I have dutch pro a and b grow and bloom and some magne cal for any mg/cal issues I may encounter.

I may invest in some bloom booster this time and see if it worth encorporating into the feeding schedule. I'm not really into organics. Seems a lot of effort for something I'm actually just gonna burn in the end :)

And as a little recap. I grew gsc with this light already. I got 180g with having to chop about a week or 2 early due to a housing inspection.

Aiming for 200g this time wish me luck. One amnesia has popped the surface already the other should have by this evening. Just waiting on the white widows.

I am thinking about a thermal pad or something along those lines for placing between the doorframe and driver. That can get real warm when on 18 hours

Looking at your germ and I do it the same way now. Little tiny pots, same color and shape and I place them in jar lids. Not a big deal. Just saying I do very similar. I don't have any peat pellets right now so. Nice set up dude. Love amnesia too.

Amnesia is defo one of my faves. So is ww.

And with regards to germinating I always thought what better way then natural selection. Damp medium no pre soak/shot glass/paper towel tricks. Just good old nature. If they pop then sweet. If they don't then probably wouldn't have been a strong plant anyway.

My game is suffering in the germ area. Used to, all my seeds popped. Always. This order I'm 2 for like 7. Maybe $40+ worth of seeds have failed. And they are premium seeds except for several of them were cheaper Vision seeds that I am 1 for 4 I think. I'm not gonna blame the vendor or breeder tho. Because they are from 4 different breeders. I may be like 2 for 8 I don't remember exactly how many have failed. Anyway, not giving advice til my game gets a bit tighter. My germ method is soak for 24 hours then put in pellet, rockwool cube or just soil. Place in dark place, right now I use a heat pad cause I keep it cold in the crib. It's not working. I dunno man. Something tells me I should stay shut down for now. Got some flack my way and just need to chill. Hey man I really do love your set up. Peace and love!

Hey brettsog
I need to make four of what you made for my setup, which is 2m x 1x scrog 4 plants per meter. total of around 600w

Damn that's a poor germ ratio. And dude if your getting a vibe I would listen...

Where do u store the seeds? Most people say the fridge/freezer I just keep mine in bags and Ive never really had issues. There can be so many variables when it's comes to whether they pop or not. I'm not really sure what to suggest. If u bought them all from Internet u have to be aware. I've heard some customs are blasting packages with radiation to kill off any living/organic substances. Including seeds.

If money was no object I would go with cxb3590 instead of vero. 12 of those at 50w a piece is more efficient than me with the veros

I just store them at room temperature. I don't know what the deal is this time around. I did try a new seer bank but, no one else seems to be having problems with there fear so..... I have popped seeds that were several years old just kept at room temps without any problems. And I'm basically still germing the same ways. I'm not too worried about it really. Seems like seeds not germing is part of the game and should be expected. I only have autos seeds now and I'm thinking when I order again I'm gonna get some photos and just go 12/12 from seed. It's all good bro. Have a good day.

And after all of that the other 3 seeds I sunk have all withered and gone brown so I replaced them

Ok so I'm back in the game, got my bi annual inspection over and done with. Had some serious issues with coco I just couldn't get it right without ph testing and it managed to kill off a load of seeds. And withered all my plants.

Started fresh. Just using some local garden centre compost. Regretting it slightly as it's crap quality, loads of peat and twigs. But plants are ok which is most important. I'm 3 days in and I have 4 out of 4 sprouted.

I'm growing 2 blueberry kush and 2 blue cheese. One of the cheese has only popped today so a few days behind.

Will post some pics later..

So you are going back to soil for the whole run?

You probably know this, but "local garden center compost" is often not specified for "indoor" plants, and can come with bugs. I learned that the hard way. I've found when it comes right down to it Azamax in a watering/soil drench will put a fast end to gnats and aphids, but I don't know what it does to the other beneficial life in the soil. Some people don't concern themselves with that, but I'm a big fan of mycorrhizae. If you do start to see the flying pests around, what do you use?

If they come I use the sticky pads to trap them. This time I learned. I nuked the soil bowl by bowl. Took 2 hours or so. Just to kill any eggs. Was long and messy but should do the trick.

Ok so as promised a little pic update. I'm gonna a start feeding them soon. Just had water up until now.

The 2 on the left are blueberry kush. The 2 on the right are blue cheese. The dinky one sprouted 4 days after the others and the far right is a day behind the kushs
