My 17 Plant Grow 2012!!! Mostly Auto-Flowering

Hey all!! So this is my 2012 grow journal. I am very excited about this years grow and to share my grow with all of you. So this year i ordered 15 auto flowering seeds of nirvana. 5 blue mystic, 5 northern lights and 5 bubblicious. I also have 1 cheese plant and 1 NYPD plant that are not auto flowering. This is a outdoor grow, i do it every year, different place. I start these babies inside for the first half a week to a week.

Starting time was Tuesday July 26th
They were potted on Saturday July 29th

The cheese and NYPD are in big 5 gallon buckets
The other 15 are in various pots sized between 3-5 gallons

Half were potted in Miracle-Gro Moisture Control Potting Mix and the other half were potted in Miracle-Gro Organic Choice Garden Soil. The reason why it was half and half was because we cleaned out walmarts selection of the miosture control and still needed more soil lol. Now miracle-gro isnt my first choice and alot of people say it doesnt work. But since i live in Ontario and fox farm soil is not available to me and i needed alot of bags of soil, walmart was the best bet for me. The soils been working great for me so far, plants are doing wonderful. Its also cool to see the difference in the soil as the plants start growing (they are about the same, if anything the moisture control is better).

So since planting outside, i lost 5 plants due to deer. I lost 4 northern lights and 1 bubblicious. It sucked but i couldnt get out there to spray deer repellent before that happened. Now i have since sprayed the area with havaheart deer deterent spray, pepper, human hair and garlic. Havent had a problem since . So after loosing those 5 plants, i cut 5 clones, so now im back up to my 17 plants...yay!!

Okay so its thursday July 19th and here are the pictures They start there 4th week aprox tomorrow. The names are in short form but this is how it goes in order:

Theres blue mystic: Blue&Blue1 are same plant. Blue2, Blue3 (different plants) and Blue 4 and 44 are the same plant.
Theres Bubblicious: BL, BL1 &BL2 all different plants, the 4th bubblicious was alot smaller so theres no picture.
Cheese is my only cheese plant, hasnt shown its sex yet and its growing fantastic. (It got eaten alive by ants before it was put in its perminate growing place, has made a full recovery).
The Next picture is 1 out of 5 clones i have, they all look the same really. There 4 Days old in the picture, standing on there own so i have faith they'll do good.
NYPD: (Forgot to name the picture so its our of order). This has shown its sex...female! Yay (it was not feminized like my auto's).
Northern Lights: Like i said before, deer ate 4 out of 5, this is my remaining NL plant, doing great!
NYPD: There 2 pictures of my very big for its age NYPD plant. We had plucked the tops when it was young and now has several tops! Doing awesome, almost out grows the grass

There auto flower so they grow to there max and then flower. The sunlight or time of the days doesnt affect them like normal plants. My two plants that are not auto's were started on may 24 weekend so they will be done probably the beginning of october. It was pushing it but its been a hot and dry summer here so they've been growing like weeds. Great grow this year. And thanks, they are looking good . They should grow tall for another week and then start budding, Ill be feeding them bud candy during the 5th week to start budding

Yes, you see my cheap way of keeping my babies watered. I did bottles instead of those globe things cause there cheaper and hold more water. All you have to do is poke pin holes on the neck (about 6), fill with water, put the cap back on and presto you have something to keep your plants watered all week. So i fill them once a week, or top them up once a week. Its a great way to keep your plants watered without feeding them too much (the roots will suck the water out when needed). You just have to give them a good watering, let the plant drink for 10-20 mins, then put the bottoles in. Otherwise the plants will drink all the water right.

Very nice. good luck with grow. I am going to try my hand at auto's for my next indoor crop. Have you grow them before? How is yield and potency? I love the watering idea as well. I wish I could do something like that for my outdoor girls. But it takes 100+ gallons to water to feed all my girls every 2 days,lol. big thirsty girls.

Sounds like you have a nice grow aswell . Thanks for the kidn words and yes it is a great thing to have. In ontario we've had a rather hot and dry summer so i like the bottles there in between waterings so they have a reserve on really hot days. Its good cause water will only come out if the roots pull it out. Yeah i think i hose will do the best for you lol. This is my second year growing auto's but i only had 3 last year cause i was just experimenting. But i bought 15 seeds for this year because i actually enjoyed them. The yield is about a ounce a foot i'd say and the potency is very nice. I think because its a smaller plant is has more flavor packed inside. I just like how fast they grow and next year ill be trying some super auto's, going to be exciting. Ill tell you how the smoke is when its all done

Alright so i was out at my plants on friday and its official, growth has stopped and budding has begun. Some of my babies are still on the small side but hey at least i didnt loose them to deer or plant robbers this year. So its time to begin the budding nutes, this year i went with pretty well the best stuff on the market since i have small plants. I want to make them explode!! So when i go out this week to start feeding them the nutes, ill be taking pictures and putting them up!

CORRECTION TO MY VERY FIRST POST: Starting time was Tuesday JUNE 26th, They were potted on Saturday JUNE 29th, Not JULY lol, My bad!


Still no word on if my cheese plant is female but its far away from any other plant so if it decides to be male, its all good. My boyfriend also wants to cross breed the really small plants we have with the cheese if its a male. Make some nice seeds for next year, will be:

Chesse x Bubblicious
Cheese x Blue mystic (Blue Cheese)
Cheese x Northern Lights

If its male, anyone want to buy any seeds?? lol. We already bought our next years grow seeds. All auto flower and looking into getting some super auto's, anyone know a good site?? We usually get ours in niagara falls at high times or on nirvana's website but i dont think they have super auto's. Thanks for the comments

So this is the nutes i got for this year, purchased off AdvancedNutrients.com. It was between BIG BUD and BUD CANDY, but i couldnt help but get the bud candy. Not only cause of the great name and picture on the cover but because it not only makes your bud big, it makes it tastier too (While big bud only makes your bud big). I'll let you all know how it makes my buds grow and taste.

Sounds like your on your way to some fine grass. As for super autos I dont even know what one of those is,lol. But I just got my license and have never had any knowledge about growing or strains. But im learning fast. You going to get some more pics up of your girls soon? I would love to see how the autos progress. Im using the big bud and bud blood for my outdoor grow. Advance has done good for me so far.thx killer.

Sounds good, this is my first year using advanced nutes but ive heard there the best!! Yes!! I plan to go out someday this week to feed them there first tastes of budding nutes and ill be taking pictures so have a look at the end of the week and there should be some nice pictures. I will have been a week since the last pictures so they should be really beefing up. I would have taken more when they were babies but i just decided to take a interest in thie site when they were already 3 weeks.

looking good. plants lookin healthy. you could have just used molasses instead of Bud Candy.......bud candy is fancy molasses with added stuff

Alright guys, just went out to my plants a couple hours ago to feed them there bloom nutes for the first time. Last time i went out was on day 22 so here are my findings...

So they've all grown alot still since the last time i was out there, doing really good, very happy!! All five clones are standing and growing I only took pictures of the two, they all pretty well look the same. I didnt take a picture of the cheese this time cause we think its male, still growing it though, its well away from the others. The NYPD looks messed in this picture lol the wind was blowing like crazy, but it looks good, still growing nice. Has the two big tops and a couple smaller ones still coming up. And all my auto's just grew awesome, the smallest plant in the last pictures (not the dinky one that looks like a week old) doubled in size . Anyways hope you guys enjoy the post, tell me what you think

love the looks of the autos. nice flowers forming on those. your clones look a bit unhappy. Im sure they will pick up though. NYPD needs some water? Or is it over watered? But ya looks great. Cant wait to try my hand at autos. Good luck, Killer.

Thanks!! Yeah there looking amazing, really coming along. There still growing taller everyday . The NYPD was in need of a water yes but the wind was also blowing like crazy when i took the picture, so it explains why it looks like it does. Thanks for the kind words and ya give them a try. I just love them because i can have 2 crops a year, my auto's half way through the season and my normal plants at the end of the seaosn. I actually just bought a new plant, about waist high for 20 bucks cause the guy was really hurting for money lol. Since my cheese is most likely a male, this makes up for it. Its a kush plant and ive already topped it, so hoping she just explodes! Stay tuned for new pictures in a week!!! Thanks again killer

Alright went out to feed the girls there second feeding of bud candy the other day and they were doing great! Really beefing up! I forgot my phone that day so i didnt get any pictures. But today i went out there for a water and took pictures. Wow the progress in just 2 days! There doing very well! Only 3.5 more weeks till harvest of the auto's, getting very excited!!! The clones are doing really really good, there all growing and have thick little stocks. OH and the cheese plants is FEMALE!!! Yes! That was great to find out going out there, even though we just bought a new female kush plant to make up for that one. Extra's fine with me

Looking nice.....looks like some are about ready to finish up already. I like those single cola plants. they look great
