I'm sure you ppl are using soil in the frozen tundra lol :joint:
I'm sure too. I can still see an advantage to dealing with a water tap and drain rather than bags of soil. I think if I had a shed and chickens and space for my own worm compost, I would go a different route. In some ways, hydro could be easier just because of where and how I get my medium in and out of the grow room.

Everything has hit the floor! Youngens and Bigens!
I got 270 degree lighting pretty much which will end up more like 360 due to the way I rotate!
I've now got top lighting as well as side lighting on everything as I'm trying to really make these buds pop!:leaf:

*edit And you cant really see my youngens anymore, but they're lined up against that back of that wall!

Noob in need of advice. I have been subbed to your thread for most of the grow since my grow is a little behind yours and your grow absolutely inspirational. I am going to go organic as soon as I can gather all needed supplies to mix me a batch of your soil mix. thank you for that recipe by the way and any other literature is always greatly appreciated. Here are the stats of my grow my water runs at a ph of about 6.5 using MG ferts about once a week not even at full strength and added superthrive last feeding I plan water every day or two as needed but when first moved to flowering chamber during the first lights on temps got over a hundred but was fixed by the next day. here are some pics please any advice will help me at this point. I have more pics of my other two plants they are even worse in my journal IMG_20130201_135427.jpgIMG_20130201_135416.jpgIMG_20130201_135214.jpgIMG_20130201_135250.jpgIMG_20130201_135315.jpgIMG_20130201_135332.jpgthe last two pics are of one plant that escaped any harm although all treated the same

When I've got a minute to sit down and look at things rather than just pop my head in, I'll get back to ya!
And I appreciated the kinds words bro! I'm just trying to do what I can to help around here..
And if something works for me then it should work for others. So why not share right?
My first time around I roasted some plants in MG and with a 1000w HPS that wasn't adequately ventilated.
Twas a TERRIBLE TIME :wall:

BUT....I'm telling you a little preparation goes a LONG way bro. I'm talking the distance.
Too late for that lecture now but I'll get back to you asap.
But my initial thought is that you HAVE to effectly managed tho temps of your leaves won't work.
And it's better to try and manage fixing a deficiency rather than a toxicity :leaf:

oompa, They are overnuted, overwatered and Overheated!!!

Beech

That literally could sum it up based on looking at them
. (Just checked your Blog out Oompa. Maybe start a thread and more ppl will follow. The journals don't seem to be doing so hot.

But the plants don't need water every day or two so soon. Mine are JUST started getting to that point and 3 1/2 weeks into flowering.
What size pots are you using?
And can you transplant them into a soil other than MG? Or even a new bath of MG where you can better manage the moisture in the soil.
The plants might even be able to benefit from the food that's in the MG thruout flower, and you can feed the soil teas to build up the life within.
I would tranplant the sickly RIGHT AWAY.

Also, I would use CFLs if I couldn't control my temps.
They CERTAINLY get the job DONE! :leaf:
