My 2 little plants...10 days old and my setup...help

This is my low budget setup....3-30w cfls =150w...and also I put a 42w, halogen or incandescent, not sure. There's a lot of info on the web and people like to mix lights during veg for a reason....is this good?...and also how are my 10 day babies??

get the lights much closer to the plants. the 30 watt bulbs should be about 3 inches from the plants. check how close you can put your hand to the 30w bulbs without burning. that's how close to the plants they should be. GL

Nice looking babies you've got there, not sure if incandescent light does any good tho, but yea lower your lights as close as possible to avoid your plants from stretching.

Just read something about people mixing their spectrums that's all......I have it mostly to keep a nice temperature because it is kinda cold

Lower those lights... maybe even find a way to hook up another 1 or 2...

look great man, my 10 days were about the exact same size. Would post pics but im not trying to hijack your thread. As said above, with cfl's you can drop the lights to around 4" away from tops. Watch out for some heavy growth over night, read one to many threads about peoples plants growing into their lights overnight and burnin em. Close, but not too close is key. As others have said, use the hand test!
