I get some yellowing. did you cut the fan leaves? and how big did you cut your clones? the one in the back left was the first to root and is doing great! the one in the back right only had 1 tiny little white nub sticking out but didn't have any yellowing and was given to byron209 with some other stuff.

I cut the leaves but only the first two, maybe I should cut more leaves ? I'd say they are around 4 inches but I'll measure them later today.
I was thinking that some yellowing could be normal but at day 5 is too soon if they still have to wait until day 13 to grow some roots, don't you think ?
Haven't got a more recent picture with me right now. This one is from 3 days ago so you can see the leaves.

Yeah I would cut more off those fan leaves! besides that they dont look to big. and how close are your lights. mine tend to root faster and have less yellowing if I have my t5s about 2 feet away. they work on rooting instead of photosynthesis. all that fan leaf will want to use up water and nutes. for mine it also seems if I keep the humidity way up the first few days then drop it to about 50 percent they root faster instead of trying to take in water from the leaves.

Actually the water temp should be around 80 degrees or so to provide for a proper rooting temps. and also changing the water weekly should prevent root rot. but you do have to be careful about bacteria buildup and root rot. any cloning gel used? ive been shown that striping the green away on the bottom of the stems works for the fastest cloning. If you have a humidier around(or a friends /thrift store) consider that your clones will want as high of a humidity as possible (or mist frequently) With as minimal light as possible.

I like my water temp exactly where it's at, no worries about anything growing in it. All my clones have lived and are doing very well! I have a 30 site ez-cloner that I keep the water temps down on as well with almost 100% of them living, every other batch 1 or 2 will die.
