I've done it before - I couldn't really tell if it helped or not... but from what I've read it is a good idea. I'd only give them 2 days of dark before you chop 'em.

Are you using a flushing agent like 'Final Phase' or 'Final Flush'?

na i dont think im usin heavy chem ferts,ive been usin organic soil with bio canna flores. hopefully just water shud b fine

wot over good strains are there from greenhouse?ive done the church 1st grow and was pleased,now im doin these 3 im still disappointed that the cheese is so small maybe they just grow like that.im planning 2 let them go 9 weeks tho

That's interesting, my cheese is doing the best out of the seedlings I've got. I can't suggest any specific strains from GHS, this is my first of theirs.

hi my 3 plants will be 8 weeks flower tuesday,i started flushin on monday.how long shud i let them flower coz the trainwreck hardly has any amber hairs?also do i count flower from wen i switched 12/12 or wen i see preflowers?plz help

i usualy go from the start of the second week to start counting weeks also i let them grow an extra week after that

ive been lookin at zeus harvestin guide,so its best 2 harvest wen they look rite and have fully ripened.think its best i let them go 9 weeks

It's almost impossible 2 go by ,"weeks", it could take any-where from 7 to 14 wks for a plant to reach maturity. Just get you at least a 30x magnifier, or a mini microscope. Look at the trichomes on your buds.If they are mostly clear, then the plant could go a nother week or so.I'd wait till i see about 10 to 20 % amber colored trichomes.It all depends on the type of "high" you want to achieve. In general...the more amber trichomes, the stonier the buzz! lol ( i'm going to try and attach a photo from my first grow) Good luck with your grow!

i got told that if u leave the buds 2 long they get seeds,is that true? i flushed monday and aint watered since.do i continue with plain water until 9 weeks and let the buds ripen?i think the closest 1 to be ready is the rhino.on greenhouses website it says cheese is the 1 out of the 3 to flower 8 weeks

I've never heard of getting seeds from letting,"female",plants flower to long. And if it is a male you should be able to tell very early on in the flowering proccess. Like i stated earlier.watch the color of the trichomes.

I don't know if i would go "chopping branches". But, you could prune off a test bud from the middle of the plant some-where.(not the main cola).Just dry it out in a warm dry area for a couple days.

Ideally you would want to remove all the water molicules,but ifyou dry a bud for 2 or 3 days in a warm, dark, and dry area, it should get you a "buzz" if it's decent smoke. Good growing!
