My 6k watt grow journal!

Finally found some time to start a new journal of my 6k watt grow room. . . . The strains that I have going are, Holy Grail Kush, Confidential Cheese, LSD and 818 Headband. . . . I have 28 plants in there, I had 32 but 4 hermied on me so I had to toss them. . . . . I finally added a Co2 generator also.

Hermies

The main reason that im pissed about these hermies is because 2 of the plants that hermied on me were my cross of Holy Grail Kush x Casey Jones that I never ran before
and they were looking beautiful. . . . My Holy Grail was tested at 19.69 thc and my CJ was tested at 19.2 thc but was a major producer easy 1gpw . . . .so I was looking forward to seeing what they would create. . . . I only had 2 HGK x CJ and the other 2 were 818HB #1

None of your 818 hermied? My 818 are extremely light sensitive and will hermie if not careful, but it's some of the best smoke I've had.

Yeah My 818 #1 hermied on my last run and this run so im not running that pheno anymore. . . . My 818 #2s (purple pheno) haven't hermied on me since I started running them.

Yeah for the most part, everything is running smooth right now. Im just hoping I can last til harvest without having to purchase an AC. I planned to chop at week 9 which would be May 7th but if my room is running hot around week 8, I'll just have to chop then. . . . The only other thing I have to do to the room is completely seal it. . . Im going to do that once I harvest. . . .but so far so good, I'll keep you guys posted.

Question though, why are they all red spectrum? Why don't you use half blue half red?

How long did you veg for?

And have you ever considered doing a gigantic screen over those purty ladies?

Uhhh I just havent found time to experiment with different lighting in the bud room yet nor have I done much research so I just stick with what I know.

I vegged them for, I wanna say 6-7 weeks.

I've considered it but I barely have any room to get around as it is, adding a net/screen will take away the little room that I do have.

Thank you, the measurements are 9ft+ x 18ft

Right now im just air cooling the hoods and bringing in fresh air from outside.

So you veg for 2 months, flower for another two. And get 13.5lbs every 4 months?
That's a little less then 3.5lbs a month. :clap:

Be careful with that, without a real good air filter this is the leading cause of growers getting powdery mildew.

We'll see what the yield comes out to be, but i run a perpetual grow, I have a veg room going at the same time. I harvest every 8-9 weeks. This is the first time
I have my room going exactly how I want it, (packed with plants along with C02) This is going to be my first harvest using co2 so im not sure what to expect as far as yield, only time will tell.

Yeah trust me i've been on the look out. I have a sulfur burner and also have products such as green cure, serenade and a few other for pm control . . .so far the plants are clean, thanks for looking out.
