As promised.
I'm so glad I switched the supply lines to 5/16" everything. The flow is SO much better now. With 1/2" there was no waterfall at the end buckets. I've included pics of the very first bucket on the line of only 4 & the very last bucket on the line of 5. As you can see, it's the exact same. I added airstones for shits n giggles.
But they appear to be growing. Slowly but surely. wow I can't believe you can get the levels right with that return only being 1/2 I think your going to run into problems with roots clogging up the lines

Man I ran a full scale one just before. This is a miniature just for vegging to about a foot tall. Been running for over a week now with no problems. It runs perfectly. Once they're about a foot tall though, they then go into the 5 gal RDWC. Get it?!

@Airwalker16 for my cxb3590 build, do you think I should use pin heatsinks or just go the heatsink usa route?
Is probably use pins. I built mine long before pins were really.... available. But, the extruded route is also very cool. Bar builds are very easy to utilize in many ways. 4 on a 36" at 1750 ma will give you a decent amount of photons. Use some 140mm cpu fans though and you'll have a light that'll last for years.

I want to run my drivers outside the tent. So can I skip buying aluminum L angle to connect the heatsinks, and just have 2 separate lights on their own hangers?

Absolutely you can. I just wanted them connected. Also, there's no such thing as a 185-1750/2100. Those amperages are available in the 240 & 320 models only. And you need to know which amperage you want to use. Because you can run 4- 3590's on a 240-1750 but only 3 on a 240-2100. If you want 2100, you need to use 2- 320-2100 's which can run 5 3590's. Or of course, 3- 240-2100's running only 2 cobs on the third one. Regardless though, definitely grab "B" models. That way you can add potentiometers to the dimming leads provided on the driver for precise dimming from 0-100% rather than an "A" model where you turn a screw ON the driver that's underneath a rubber plug giving you only 50-100% dimming capabilities.

Just know, the drivers really don't put off a lot of heat. Yes, they get hot. Too hot to touch even. But I dont think it really causes any problems with temps inside say a 4x4 or 4x8 tent because that heat just kinda hangs out right around the area around them. But of course, do as you please. I have built both styles.

So after reading that, I think I'll use two 240-1750 with 8 (36v) cxb 3590 just to keep things as simple as possible.

Its for a 4x4 Apollo tent. The only reason I didn't go with the 4x8 is for lack of room. And I know there will be plenty of time for upgrading in the future, when I recoup some funding and gain growing experience.

Would you recommend using the lenses like you used? It looks like they protect the cobs nicely.

No no no. I used to. But id highly reccomend using the angelinas now. They're so much better. I almost wanna throw diffusers on all of mine to spread my light out more evenly.
