My BlueWidow Cross...

Hey Martin...These are actually some of my best seedlings yet.
You can always expect them to stretch the first couple of
weeks or so based on genetics.

What you do after these initial weeks will have the most influence
on your girls regarding node spacing. As you may already know,
the most important factor is lighting. I have added 126 watts of
CFL to encourage tight spacing and better overall growth.

The light cycle could have something to do with it, but I doubt
much. Setting them on a 18/6 rather than 24/0 will promote root
growth, but inhibit upward growth. Just something else to consider.

Some more details on how your SC is running would help...Take care
of your girls and they will produce...

KingDing...It is very rewarding knowing I brought these girls into the
world...Like playing God but on a smaller scale. This is only my first
cross, and there will be plenty more...

The BW is healthy, Updates soon...

Posting to I can keep it easy to watch. Hope to learn simple hydro.
I've already learned about soiless growing, which is basically hydroponic as far as I'm concerned.
Thouth its still like watering a potted plant. No resivior, Pumps or water timing to set up.

I don't really think there would be a difference in the health or yield of the plant, but I'ld like to learn because it looks fun to set up.

Cant wait to see what grows

i have a northern light's crossed with white widow, i germinated them in a wet paper towel and wrapped it up in aluminum foil, it seemed to work pretty well for me

Johnny Blunt you are god! haha how difficult is it to cross strains? i have about 4 seedlings going right now, all bagseed but crossing them might be fun ya never know.

Thanks for coming Terry...Always good to see you pop
in tleaf.

I like the sound of that cross kdhc...Let me know how
it goes. Crossing strains is simple Kingding, just be
careful with pollen and use strong plants for better
results. I'm getting great results with mine...

BlueWidow just waking up to day 16 of life.

Lights are on an 18/6 schedule, and will stay that way.
I took all of my seedlings out and rotated the smaller
ones under the CFL's. They are all now just rooting.

I flushed all my girls out with normal water, and refilled
each tray with Flora Nova feeding my clones and WW
at 800ppm, and my BW at 500ppm still. Still dripping
twice a day...

They are growing fast now, so updates often...

Just a few more shots from today...
After rotating my week BW directly under
the CFL's, they have now caught up to
the rest and all more girls are looking
uniform now...

I had to move my Clone chamber because
of the dual Veg. drippers, and thought
this might be a good spot. No need for
air flow, so it's just a 100w CFL/w mount
and a heat pad...Five White Widow, and
seven Blue Berry clones...

The mothers afterwords...Not the focus
of the journal tough...just a side project.

These CFL's are producing some of my
tightest spaced plants i've grown in here.
They bring the heat up, but these girls
are loving it...Get them...they are chaep...

Damn JonnyB, always doing miracle work on these sexy babies!! I just can't see how come yours are already bigger than mine and i started mine about ten days before yours... anyways i was just doing a lot of research on LSTing, have you ever thought about trying this technique?? Or do you think it would even work using the 6x6 RW??

Oh, I`m watching this one:blsmoke: Great start!!

JohnnyB, did you pollinate branches? How`d did it affect the rest of the plant? And did you keep the male in the same house?

peep my grow..

Wassup Martin...

These are my most vigorous seedlings yet...I credit
some of that to the genetics behind both strains and
the dominant parent plants I took them from.

Most of the credit goes to the 126 watts of CFL's
added to the chamber...They raised the temps 10
degrees, and all of my girls in the Veg. chamber
have been taking off at 80F.

Hey Cheemp...The male is def. NOT left with the girls,
you know that. He was taken from under my 600w
about two weeks into flower BEFORE the pollen
sacks had a chance to open up on my girls.

I put him under my window sill until he opened up, and
I pollinated the bottom two branches of two Blueberry
girls that were just showing pistils two weeks into flower.

The rest of the plant was not affected, and I got about
six seeds per plant.

My BW are responding very well to the CFL's...Pics

Yes I do...But an unnecessary amount of light will make
up for that. These girls will be stacked with nodes.

As far as my exclusive exposure to this cross, that may
be on this site...I haven't seen it around here yet. I have
seen various crosses of the two strains, but never from
BC Bud Depot...Maybe if I get some beans they might
consider some good F2's to add to theire collection.

Female first...You could have some WhiteBerry if your lucky...
Let me know how it goes..:joint:

Good to see you around Chiceh...What are you working

That's what I want to see.

Whatup Ash...Keep practicing with that cam...And Take
care of those girls.

Here is a shot from last night. My BlueWidow seedlings
on day 20 from seed...

More tonight...Gonna take some more clones and move
some girls around.

Lookin good JonnyB, I'm still envious that your girls are growing faster than mine, so I added a dual 20 watt ballast that fits right between the single 20 watts that came with the closet... and if i can figure out how you got those CFLs in there, i'm going to copy you on that!! :hump: gigitty gigitty!!

Hey Martin, more light can never hurt. The CFL's were
easy to put in. I just curled some steel hangers, ran it
through the fixture, and hooked each end to the little
shelves you see in the cab. I would have drilled them
straight in through the top, but don't have the
equipment. GL with the seedlings...

The BW have been thriving in 650ppm of Flora Nova grow.
Temps dip to 74F and get up to 83F.
My girls on their third week, and its
getting bushy in here...
