hygrozyme is just meant to be a preventive not a quick fix your supposed to add it b4 you get root rot or algae

you mix hydrogen peroxide with hygrozyme because hygrozyme is an enzyme And hydrogen peroxide will kill it. not trying to be mr. know it all, i would want someone to tell me

strange thing is... My roots are looking good again. From the cleaning the res with bleach adding the Hygrozyme and then the next day I added a shit load of peroxide. Plus I have been putting frozen water bottles in the res. Still waiting on the Physan 20, subculture m and B. Dont think I'll need it now,lol... I seem to just order shit and never use it. I'll probably spend more money than I make off this, damn shame...

yea i dont think hygrozyme and peroxide go together. its probably the peroxide thats keeping your roots clean. seriously, my res stays at about 75-78 degrees, but i dont get root rot. a little h2o2, and a STRONG air pump will do the trick for you. i have a 45liters/min air pump pumping air to 2x 6 inch air stones in a 10 gallon res. This gives me a lot of fast violent air bubbles
