My Buddies dog!! :(

A friend of mine called me upset about his dog! I guess yesterday he just stopped walkin..he trys to walk but cant stand up..I tried callin a vet to see how much it would cost..40 for the visit and 150 for xrays which is crazy. There should be medicade for dogs or something..The dogs a pitbullxboxer and hes 4 years old..thats kinda young to be havin hip problems! anyone had any similar problems with there dogs? any input would be appriated!!

if your a dog lover and that concernd..then spend the money

i had a dog who got sick over night i took him to the vet and he died their

the vet took cultures from him and found out that he had been poisond...

people out their do fucked up shit to animals for no reason

im not saying that about your dog

im just saying get him checked out.. out

In Oz we have ticks that cause paralysis. Either way, get the dog checked out by a vet as its cruel to leave an animal in pain. How is supposed to eat/drink/shit if it can't walk.

It could be many things... tick is def one of them as Rusty mentioned. Has this come out of nowhere? Has there been any recent hair loss?

shit thats cheap i took my dog to a 24 hr clinic at like 11pm cause my dog was just real lathargic not moving much not her normal self. so we go to the clinic get $500 worth of blood work...and they couldnt tell me shit my dog was fine the next day...sometimes you just do it dont think about the money think about ur friend being there a few more days...

Well my buddy called a vet and were goin halfs on that bill! I dont my him to suffer!The appointment is at 4pm! thanks for the concern guys!

I know it's a long shot and we really haven't any background ifo to go on...but make sure the pup is checked for Cushings disease.

Just got back from the vets! it was lime disease..cost 250 for xrays, blood work and antiboitic! so he should get better in the next week or so! thanks eveyone!

He could also have arthritis,my dog couldnt walk and had really bad joints due to arthritis,but there is medication that reliefs pain for them =) my dog is good as new now =) he can walk and run,although he is getting old
