I have two lemon-G girls and a Strawberry Cough. They have both been in jars for a week-week and a half and all the buds feel crunchy. You can tell there is very trace amounts of softness in the middle...is this normal? Should I put some lettuce in there to soften it up a little? Im concerned because I still have 2 weeks left to cure. HELP ME!!! lol

it's ok.. don't try to re-hydrate that's for kooks.

are the jars air tight? how much time are they spending open each day?

if they are that dry, it would be ok to leave the jar closed for a few days. especially if you feel it's drying too fast.

I havent opened the jars in almost 36 hours now. I keep them in airtight glass with rubber seals and have been opening them once a day for about 15 minutes each time... Maybe I better just keep doing what Im doing. I keep them in the cabinet so that they don't have to see light. Im just a paranoid woman when if comes to my buds. Thanks for the reply, I feel better :o)

I'd say at 48 hours open the jar for an hour and move them around (bottom buds to the top) halfway through

(I like mine crunchy so the grinder breaks them up into almost powder - so I've just done half an hour 3 times a day for a week (moving around between each opening) and I'm now doing 1 hour twice a day moving around between openings...think I'll keep this up for about a week-and-a-half then they should be good to store I think)

I had them hanging for about 16 days too...I don't do it that often so I'm making SURE they don't go bad on me

I would breathe in my jars if they start to get a bit too dry.
