It's not too late to remove them from the jars into paper shopping bags. I've jarred too early and used that trick when they needed more than burping but less than hanging out in my dry environment.
My buds kind of smell like weed, but too much grassy smell. What did I do wrong?

thats what i would recommend. wayyy too many opinions here. take a few different approaches and see what works best for u. everyones grow setup, or location if outdoor, is completely different. along with different strains...just test it on ur own and see what works. and good luck. lolYeah maybe. But at this point on the Trollitup.org i mostly get confused rather than enlighten when it comes to info. Its just to many opinions here

If you follow the bullshit that goes on (which can be entertaining). Then your no better that the person who started it. If someone is being a dick and telling you to harvest early and you do without any second or third opinion. Your half the problem. You gotta filter out the dumb asses

Well i know a heck more now and i used to and i think if you are totally new at the grow scene and searching out of answears its easy to get lost. So i think not half but all the problem is with people giving out bad advice or "bro science" so to speak.
But yeah after 4 runs i know more now than before what is going to work for my setup

Tons of info out there but what I have personally discovered is:
1. Chop too early = no smell. Do not take the breeder's flowering period as gospel. I have found that autos go at least 80 days from germ. and photos at least 10 weeks from switch to >= 12 hour dark period. EDIT: And of course you need to check those trichomes. If you find yourself thinking "I think I see enough cloudy", check them again in a week.
2. Dry too quickly = grass/hay smell that no amount of curing will fix. You want at least a week to dry. If your drying area is at or below 60%RH do not wet trim. Dry trimming is a huge PITA, but I have found that leaving all but the largest fan leaves on when drying slows the process down considerably.

yeah my house stays consistently at 55 rh. I take off the big fan leaves, but leave everything else. The seeds were good. It’s got a great high and when broken off it smells of blueberries and vanilla faint oil. I think I wasn’t letting them dry long enough and trimmed to early
Oh no it’s too late, it’s almost gone and it’s dry
