This time around there was no problem.. Maybe there won't be for quite a few generations, but you're playing russian roulette IMO..

i see what your saying, i guess i just have to keep a mother around and keep her trimmed just for when i need her, huh? I just cant figure out how to keep it trimmed to maintain a good shape to fit four mothers in my veg box. WW,PPP,VK,NL all in one veg. cabinet. You think the 150 HPS and 4 42 watt CFL's i have are too much for mothers? Should i use just the CFL's and add more or just keep it how it is?

Not too much, but more than necessary if you don't need to crank out alot of clones in a short time.. You can maintain a mother with a 13W cfl if you need to.. You just gotta keep it small..

LOL...listen to me!
The guy that couldn't lay down the scissors for the first three months of growing, and now i'm not sure how to cut at the mothers!LOL!!:-P
I guess i just have to give a try and see how it goes. seems to have worked good so far. Thanks born!!

A plant in veg state is pretty resillient.. Resillient during flowering too, but you've got a genetic timeline you need to make the most of.. Can't force the plant to waste that time redistributing hormones/resources without hurting yield..

Ok, guys i have been looking into the Hempey Buckets lately. Seen alot from Boneman, and read alot of other threads pertaining to it.

My questions are: If any of you have any experience with these,

-Can i use my Fox farm trio nutes i have for soil with this or no? I heard both sides of the fence, but still unclear?
-so the perlite mix lays in the bottom of the bucket as well?It lays in the water in the bottom below the hole in the side, right?

Sounds fun, cheap and easy. Thanks for any help guys!!!

Just put the scizzors in hand i bet they havent forgot how to butcher one!Rofl Is the reason your plants always look strange is because of space issues? Are,are you into bonding your ladies?

You can use any butes you want as long as they don't need to break down to activate like compost.. The dosages may not be as directed though, so start at maybe 1/3 strength, and work up till they're happy..

Well, if you mean the tieing and bending, yes, its because i only have about four feet of height to work with. In that is grow bag height, light hood, and space between plants. Plus it makes them look cooler...:hump:LOL!
Also i stopped topping plants and am trying to convert to SOG grows so i can save on space without hurting my yields. Or maybe a Hempy SOG. !
LOL Thanks Beech!

Ok, had one in a DWC experiment, PPP clone, and made a makeshift Hempy bucket, but with a small plastic jug. Filled with perilite and with a hole on the side for drainage, and a screen over the whole. If it works, thats the easiest grow i ever seen!LOL!!! Probably more expensive than soil though to replace perlite. Or can it be reused if washed properly?

Never mind found the answer on another thread....

Pour perlite into a strainer with small holes (stainless steel) and put strainer in sink

1) Spray down with hot water, shaking the perlite to get it all washed
2) Fill sink up with hot water until the water level is at the top of perlite
3) Add a capful of bleach and let soak for a while, then drain
4) Fill sink up again with hot water and let sit for a while, then drain
5) Repeat step 1 until there is no more bleach odor, then let dry

This seems like a lot of steps, but it ensures that all nutes, salt and bacteria are washed away, leaving perlite that is like-new (minus the dust)

Spend the 20 bucks and buy some GH for hydro, you can get grow bloom and another like karma for less than 20 bucks, most of what you have does not have all the trace elements.I have done a complete grow before with just Bloom with good results. My choice of hydro nutes is AN hands down, and ive tried alot, but to each his own when it comes to hydroponic nutes.DM smelled like a damn swamp and i didnt have good results.I did find some stuff at lowes for orchids that i think il try it says it has all the major and minor trace elements, and says for soiless grows!!You no me im always tinkering with something, dont laugh it comes with age!!!You want to do a Hempy together?? il use the perlite and the stuff i was talking about?Pm me and its ON!Sounds fun eh?

You have been PM'd my friend!LOL!!! Lets do it!

Oh hey the mater plants popped out of the rockwool. I'll be getting hydro nutes anyway if this hempy thing takes off nicely. I'll need them for the tomatoes.

Here is a shot of my tomatoes and my newest clones, (a few days ago).
Pic 1 is the WW clones and the big boy hybrid maters.
Pic 2 is the Super beefsteak maters and the PPP clones.

Here is my WW girl
Lots of pics....but why not, she looks good minus the leaf edges from the G .

She has had one flush last sunday, and she'll be ready for another by this saturday or sunday again. After that the colas are getting chopped, and the lowers put back in to finish up.

Will putting it in 24 hrs dark before cutting the colas hurt the lowers when she goes back in to finish:?: Or should i just chop the colas and put her back?

This has been my retarded dwarf plant the entire grow since seed!!LOL!!
Tried to learn the SOG with this one, and dont think i did that bad for my first single SOG attempt. 6 weeks flowered, so she will be on flush time next week!

Here is my newest attempt at something other than soil growing.
I made a ghetto hempy pot to test it out for my tomatoes...and a grow coming up soon,:hump:.
It's been in here for three days now, and looks a little yellowish green.
Gave a shot of superthrive(Drop per gallon), first day.
Clean water the next day, and 1/4 veg nutes today.
I guess now i let it sit for two days to dry a little more Right:?:
Then onto a regular feeding cycle?

AND....Some shots of my newest clones, actually started showing flowering today completly....and some random shots of the WW again in the cabinet. ENJOY!!!!:weed:

Oh, i know it needs more time, i'm not gonna do anything to her untill next weekend. That is my harvest date, or planned anyway. I gave her her second flush today, she was dry and droopy. An hour later she perked back up. Molasses and water only.
The G is the bomb beech, thanks for the recomendation!:!:
I cant wait to see the yield from the PPP bush, Whats your thought on weight with using the G and mollasses? I bet at least an ounce off this one plant.;-)
