What are your temps at?
Are the younger plants in better soil? They seem a bit droopy, but this time it looks more like they need a bit of water (was that the case?).. And are you taking run-off readings for pH/tds? That helps spot problems before they show in the plants..
Just to give an example to explain what I mean about droopiness, here is a thread with pics of the healthiest looking plants I think I've ever seen..

Yours don't look too bad though as of now (the young ones I mean)..

Wow, those bigger ones look like they might actually live now.. The new growth looks ok.. If they end up going downhill again without your stupidity involved you can probably legitimately blame it on the MG soil..

Here is plant 4.......it is perfectly topped if you look at the split in the stalk, it looks cool how it twist and wraps around like that.
I trimmed, topped and tied all but one plant, it was never topped, it was the bushy one. All the tops were tied down to allow the lowers to get to the same height.
I will then cut the strings for a few days and let them stretch back out at the same height at the same time!!! Thanks guys and all comments or suggestions are welcomed. Please let me know how this newbie is doing!!!:-P

Actually the small ones are in a mix i made myself of miracle grow soil that was left over and sta-green potting mix, just plain w/ perilite, blood meal, bone meal.I've been looking for a recipe for soil but can't find one that sounds eay enough or with stuff i can actually find locally.I'll check that out, how do i test ph run off? Just catch the water from the bottom of the plant in my PH tester vial? test the same as when i check the water i use to water them? Why do they cut the fan leaves in half, like for cloning or actually cut the fans in half long ways?

Basically thats how you test it.. In the future though stay away from MG soil.. Its not an elitist attitude, its the fact that it can turn fairly toxic.. You wouldn't top off your baby's bottle with whiskey because you had some left over right?:)

well..........LOL!!! No i know what ya' mean, Like i said when i transplant the small ones into bigger pots, they will have the homemade soil mix. Any suggestions?
I know i want to use worm castings, blood meal, bone meal, perilite, and vermiculite. But don't know what else, or what the ratio is on each,or how long the nutrients will work for?

Go to the organics section and pick a recipe you can easily get the ingedients for.. Everybody will have an anecdotal favorite amongst the proven ones, just pick one and go with it.. You might want to take odour into account by the way though.. As for how long the nutrients will last, they may last for the entire crop, they may not.. You won't know how fast your plants will deplete it until you've have some experience.. With organics its important to be able to spot the subtleties between various nutrient defs etc., not just general nute burn and hunger like you do with most chemical formulations.. Changes normally happen gradually though, as compared to pure chemical feeding..
Personally I'm not an organic only fanatic at all.. My philosophy is that the complexity of organics helps to ensure that a wide plethora of nutrient forms are available to the plants and soil organisms.. I have no qualms about adding chemical fertilizers ontop of that if needed as long as the formulation and dosage are what the plants need..

I am by no means a strict organic grower either, i'll use anything if it helps the girls stay healthy!! But i'll start searching the faq's..:bigjoint:

thanks for the reply.....
My thought was to eventually move the whole container to a bigger rubbermaid tub and go with the scrog method. This way it doesn't matter if the roots grow together right? I could be wrong, but this cabinet is pretty much just for vegging., anyway, then i have a place to move them for when they get bigger.
At some point you will need to remove males. It won't be pretty with all the roots one big ball.

so yesterday, i started to germ my new 2 White Widow seeds next to my 1 Skunk #1 seed. I was told sometime this week i'll be getting my northern lights clones!
Still waiting for the PPP from nirvana.
The plant #3 in the last update (with the wilted tops and new leaves) has cleared right up, due to a heavy flushing of the soil!
I am having no current probs, my temps are steady at 76 F., and humnidity is pretty constant at 50 -60 %.
I moved the four bigger of the little ones into the main area with Plants 1-4 that have pics earlier in the thread, last update.
I am having no problems right now, and things are going smooth. My clones are not really taking off yet, but they have yet to wilt or yellow, or shrivel up! That must be a good sign!!!!

I have also found the soil i will be mixing up for the tramsplant coming up this weekend, It is in the growfaqs under vics super soil mix!!!
The ingredients are:
1 Bale sunshine mix #2 or promix (3.8 cu ft)
8 cups Bone Meal - phosphorus source
4 cups Blood Meal - nitrogen source
1 1/3 cups Epsom salts - magnesium source
3-4 cups dolomite lime -calcium source & pH buffering
1 tsp fritted trace elements
4 cups kelp meal.
9kg (25 lbs) bag pure worm castings

- Mix thoroughly, moisten, and let sit 1-2 weeks before use.

I can get everything but, fritted trace elements, and kelp meal.
Where would i get that?

Some hydro stores sell trace elements, and kelp meal, but its not even absolutely necessary.. Trace elements will already exist in pretty much everything else you're adding.. Kelp is high in potassium and trace elements, but so are bananas and alot of other things you could compost or find in other alternatives.. Your soil doesn't need to be ultra super, especially if you're willing to add chemicals or teas if they show signs of deficiency.. Don't break your bank on soil, but don't chince out entirely either..

so i could just not add these and i'll be fine? I figured as much, they didn't sound toooo important! Thanks man, can't wait for the new ones to crack today or tommorow!

Names aren't a good substitute for pics though.. I'm glad they're doing better, but pics will help them stay that way.. Take advantage of the tons of ppl on here who can spot a problem from a clear picture long before harsher symptoms show up..
