That makes me laugh. I can picture my cats doing that. Bad Kitty!!!

But seriously, its still fine to grow in. The cat only dropped a deuce in there once? You can grab your litter box scooper, and scoop out that turd, and you are good to go. Poop becomes plant food eventually.

How do you know it didn't pee in the soil also? I generally pee when i poop..I would pitch the soil if there is any chance it pee'd in it.

Urine contains nitrogen in it. Im not sure if cat urine does. But anyways nitrogen is the main nutrient plant needs to survive. If you let the soil sit out to long it will build up ammonia so use it soon if you are going to grow. You dont really know if it did though for sure.

my gf saw the cat shitting in it,
got to get ready for work and dont feel like diggin in there now to take it out...
maybe by the time this damn northern lights seed germ's maybe that pile will be composted.
=P

Pull the turd out and throw it away. If you are worried about the cat peeing, then just run a few gallons of water through the soil. It will be fine after that.

lessismore from grasscity =
"Do not use kitty shit as feritlizer b/c it is full of parasites which can survive and remain infectious for people. It also contains high amounts of ammonia and soluble nitrogen compounds that can burn or even kill your plants. In most cases even cow manure is aged for over a year before it is processed and used in fields and commercial sale. "

makes sense.
still need some solid facts on this before i do anything..
