nah, just something I saw in passing in a forum, since I don't grow organic I didn't pay any heed to it.
If you think about bats & cats are both mamals and eat a high protein diet (at least the insect eating ones do) so there feces would be rich in phosphorous, and other micro nutrients. Unless your going to eat the roots raw it doesn't matter if it contains parasites.

gf says to take it out tho because she thinks the cats gonna smell it and think its alright to shit all over my projects.:wall:

...actually, I'd take the cat shit out. ....cats are carnivores, Not for food gardens, due to the possiblity of toxoplasmosis contamination. (And no, compost heaps don't get hot enough to kill toxo eggs.) Probably OK for flowers although I'm not sure what its nitrogen or potassium content is compared to cow poop. Also, it'll attract every stray cat in the neighborhood.


... You may find that uncomposted poo of any kind is just too strong for many plants.

HaHa, i was randomly looking true the newbie section and this title made my lol. Although, i would take it out, why would you want shit in ur MJ grow, its gross.

Also why on the topic of cats, I put my cat in my grow room in witch I have ak-47 growing ( strong smelling plants ) the cat whent over to it and sniffed it and then sneezed several times and left the room faster then in came in. I was ROFL. not even high :D
 
Take out the turd and flush the soil with water. If kitty smells it he/she might do it again. My cat used a house plant, i took the turd out he did it again and again until the soil was changed. Don't wait or u might have a few more surprises !!

A cat turd is self evident....whereas cat piss isn't. Cat piss will kill plants. I had a cat piss in a 45 yr old bonzai....it died...don't use is your soil.....I wouldn't take the chance with something I may get to smoke later!
