My clones are looking miserable...any advice?

Hey guys. This is my first attempt at cloning and so far it is not going as planned. I am using a 50/50 vermiculite/perlite mix and they will be going into soil if they can make it. I used a cloning gel, have a heating pad under them (they are around 70 degrees) and have been in darkness. I have been misting them a few times per day and they don't seem to be getting any better, sometimes they perk up a tad, but never have been standing up since when I first planted them about a week ago. They are still green and not brown, but should I keep this up? Will they finally perk up completely and be able to be transplanted? IMG_9988.jpgIMG_9989.jpg

For the first few days, they will look like hell. They'll eventually perk up. I've had clones take up to 3 or 4 weeks to root and be ready to transplant. You should put them in light soon.

put them under some light... cut back on misting.. mist the dome instead of the clones... u want them to push out root to feed... the humidity in the dome should be enough to keep them perky until roots show

the reason i think that they're not perking up is that they're not getting any sort of light, which is your big mistake that i see thus far.. they don't need much intense light, but they still need some light..
i like to use a couple of cfl's for my clones, and it seems to work well...

put them under some light, and i bet they'll perk right up m8... :)

dont mist the plants. mist the dome only! I use rooting powder from lowes and that shit works! just took six clones and all six have super white roots with mega hairs on them I have them in a grow dome that is in a cardboard box that is covering it up. two 30watt cfls and no heat mat. I have a 60cfm fan on top to take out the heat but it really does not even need to be on to stay under 80 deg.
