Too those who have followed my grows in the past and to those who are joining my grow journal experience for the first time, WELCOME!!!
A while back I had crop of Blue Dream, Agani #1 and Jack the Ripper. During that crop the Afgani #1 turned into a hermaphrodite. I chose to continue to grow and mate the Afgani #1 with the Blue Dream and the Jack the Ripper rather than discard the hermi (Afgani #1). And I'm glad I did!
This grow journal is of my personal creation, my babies, the Afgan Dream (Afgani #1 x Blue Dream) and the Afgan Ripper (Afgani #1 x Jack the Ripper). All are grown from seed.
This journal is starting right in middle of the action. Skipping the veg phase, I'm starting a few weeks into flowering. I always enjoy watching the flowering phase much much more and I bet you do too!
So this grow I have (1) Afgan Dream and (3) Afgan Rippers. All were topped (pruned) multiple times during veg phase to make it a bushier with multiple main branches.
The Afgan Dream has had a light fall on it twice burning two of the main (tallest and thickest) branches. Although even with these unfortunate accidents the Afgan Dream is still looking strong and beautiful.
I have 4 lights, 50w CFL's with a 500w output. They are the same lights I always use and are working perfect for this grow too. All organic soil and nutrients are used. I also give the plants Co2 a few times a week. I will eventually get a timer so they have a more constant Co2 flow opposed to the longer spaced out intervals.
I should be updating the pictures every week or so, so be sure to come back and check out the progression.
I highly encourage comments and for everyone to comment on each others post.
Thanks, ENJOY!!!
