Baby steps, people. Baby steps!
The new MMPR is the evolution of new MJ laws in Canada. Nobody, not lawyers or politicians, really know where this is heading over the next 3-5 years. Will it lead to open legalization? Maybe. Maybe not.
Prices will equalize as more producers come online. The market will crash, then recover, as any other market has done and will do so again in the future. Smaller LPs might not survive the crash, depending on their design and profit-to-debt ratio. I know that my numbers show I could survive prices dropping as low as $1.27 a gram. At $1.26 I would be operating at a loss.
Cheers
