my ec pen is driving me crazy

Hi please can somebody help me to understand my ec pen. I only have used tds pen before . This is ec-3m so my tap water reads 0.08 is this 40ppm or 80ppm would really apreciate the help

Your tap water is kinda hard. I rarely even look at my EC. I paid $350 for trimeter,and a $50 ph&items meter would have been good enough. You should look into a RO filter,that's always a good investment.

40 ppm is not hard. Actually very far from it.

No RO needed. Don't tell people to waste there money man

If 0.8ec = 400ppm (Hanna) Then 0.08 is 40ppm.
0.1ec = 50ppm

Thank u . Feel stupid now. Lol one last question for u please. I can't get my room temp below 27.5oc is this kind of heat okay ? What would u say is the max

Been 29 in mine the past couple days. Getting really sticky in there and they seem to be happy. Not letting them dry out though. Only the top inch of medium maximum to dry out before watering again

I only have two of the four 600w hps on atm and it's hot ! Oh and 1x 600w led . The 2500m3 box fan and 8000btu ac and 300cfm in take fan seem to do nothing to help do you think maybe I have set them up wrong or counteracting eachother

Is the back of your AC, where the heat comes out being vented outta there?

Please explain how you have the intake and exhaust setup so we can try to help, see if it's correct.

With an 8000btu AC, I am absolutely sure it could cool a couple 600's, there's somethin goin on...

edit- ok, 99% sure..

Didn't realise they were seedlings. I'd put a couple cfls till there fully established.

I don't have any cfls I have leds though? But it's the way they are limed up in rows of 4 X2 pots and same again to make 16
