My first Aerogarden grow

Good luck on the grow! I'll definetly be checking back with you. Glad to hear things are better with the nute burn. I went the otherway and almost killed my girl by not giving her any in the beginneing but everything seems to be OK now. Keep it up!

i dont know why we have all these AG haterz but just look at it like this...if we didnt have any haterz that would mean the AG doesnt work and we all know it does.you have another point; people get upset when you dont grow their way.I gave advice in "HIS" thread and he got bent all out of shape cause i quoted back.He also knows i am a AG grower.went back and forth with this guy that answeres alot of questions and knows his shit but failed to realise i know mine too..im not sayin no names but he is a bitch and he knows it.
Even staff hates on the AG.I was a newb too at one time and i asked a "STAFF" member a question and he told me what to do.They were sufferring from nute burn and he told me that my light was too high(which it wasnt i know now) and burnt the shit out of them with the light.

This fucking sucks. I haven't put in any nutes since the first one gave me trouble and added new water to top it off thinking it will get better by today but this is what I came home to. These are just a few pictures but all except for one looks the same as these. What is up. Need nutes? No Nutes? Take a look and let me know.

Damn what kind of water are you using and what is the ph?It is way too early to be having those probs.

The AG nutrients will PH ballence the water but since you're not using them right now purpdaddy's got the answer. Check your PH to see if it's right. Also, understand that the damage done will not get any better. You could be seeing delayed effects of the nutrient burn. Did you flush your AG? Try distilled water for now. If you can keep them alive a little longer you should be in the clear. Pot is very resiliant once you get her going.

im thinking of buying an aerogarden myself, so im gonna be watching this grow. Hope it works out, but if it doesnt, hey you still got 3 seeds as backup

you should look at Corvetts grow, that helped me alot, im putting together a basic planning for my AG, which cover all the basics, i'll post it here so you all can see, also in the AG club thread as well,

I just dumped out all of the old water and cleaned the tank before filling it right up with some distilled water. we will see if they start to recover a little bit. They have still been getting bigger so I think they stand a chance. I don't think they are as weak as we think they are and can handle some problems here or there. Hopefully they can protect themselves from me!

just remember less is more.there is not enough,just right and dead when growing.so just be mindful of that

Did you check your Ph and I'm also wondering what your water temp is? Water should be on the cooler side rather than warmer & your Ph should be slightly acidic. My Ph tends to creep up and so does the water temp. I added a small clip on fan and that has helped a bunch.

Dunno about the distilled water. If you look thru the AG book it says to use SPRING or DRINKING WATER. If you deprive your plants of ALL nutrition, they can't survive.

The AG works.itz good i own one myself and have had successfull grows with it.It is not made for growing marijuana and plus you can get a way better setup for cheaper or just as much.It is SUPERB for clones and germing.The res. is just too small and you need more light point blank period.I am not an AG hata by any means,it is perfect for beginners or someone that just wants a small crop.Before you go and buy,read and do a lil research because believe me it can get expensive.PeAcE.

I agree with purp on this also. I got this so I could learn some basics and then use it just for clones on my next setup. I think I like the whole bubbleponics setups. It seems basic and most of the stuff I have laying around my basement. We'll see how these turn out and next spring I am planning on a guerilla grow. I have an on-off road dirtbike and hundreds of square miles of woods that I can ride for days in. I figure I can stick a few seeds in the dirt and go back a month later pick the males and not go back until harvest.

I still like the AG. I don't need a shitload and with the right nutrients i can get all i need.

The Bubbleponics is what i got along with a 400w HPS/MH conversion ballast and bulbs with Canna and General Hydroponic nutes 3part

Well then the AG is perfect for you.Youll get a nice yeild for personal.but itz not enough for me.its too small and marijuana needs more room to grow!

Oh, don't get me wrong.... I still want to get the Bubbleponics setup. For now the AG is doing what I need but....

I'm just happy to be growing at this point.

It seems like the plants are getting better despite my abuse. Although it is day 19 or so now they should be a lot bigger by now but they have been taking a while to recover and now seem to be back on track. The tips of the leaves that were brown are starting to green up and they are pointing up now instead of drooping. One of them in the back row has been doing real good and is real short but getting wider and the nodes are stacking right on another with not a whole lot of verticle growth. The others are taller but don't look a normal. Hopefully its a pretty lady. I will stick with distilled right through the grow now I think. I am scarred to add the nutes again so I'm not sure how long to wait. Most of the roots are just about touching the water as long as it is kept semi full so I wonder if I should turn off the pump soon. The short plant has the strongest roots right now too. I also moved the fan to the top of the AG platform to put some crosswind on there and hopefully strengthen the stalks. Hopefully soon they will start to take off and grow at a normal pace. Later.

They'll come back for ya' just hang in there. I think the AG nutrients are way to strong really. You might want to invest in something else. I waited until the bloom stage but you might want to try it in the grow stage too. Good luck! Hang in there!
