My first blue dream grow need help couple questions

I got a blue dream clone off a buddy of mine about 2 weeks ago and its growing well under a 120 cfl. its been under 24/24 for about a week now and im wondering when i should change it and what to. also im wondering what would be most reccomended to buy for nutrients. i will add pic later but for some reason it has this one giant single leaf growing and some curly things which only just appeared over the last 2 days..what is going on? somebody please help!

Process is going to be very slow vegging under 1 cfl. I would recommend leaving your lights on 24/7 the whole veg do to your lack of light power. As for nuts, everyone will tell you a different type to us, so to make it easy on you, buy what you can afford. Make sure you don't start out at full strength and don't use them on every watering period. And you were asking when to switch from 24/24,well, that all depends on how much room you have. Just remember sativas will stretch a lot more than an indica. A plant Should grow 2-3 times its size when put into flower but that doesnt take in account for stretching ( your lights being too far away).

thank you that helps a little. i plan on changing the lighting set up anyway but what i cant figure out is that iv had the lights on it 24/7 2 inches above it and instead of stem growing thicker or growing taller it hasnt really, except this one random giant leaf thats shooting out the side along with a bunch of curly wierd looking leafs. any clue what those could be?

Upload a pic if you get a chance. You might have a clone that got some air in the stem when it got snipped from its mother. Its going to be alright but it will take a little bit longer for it to grow more foliage. I have a green crack that had that problem but now she wont stop growing.
