my first clones

so after growing from seeds from seedbanks and the dissapointment in herb quality i decided to get a mother of a somewhat reputable strain that i could get find.

so i'm noticing that clones grow much different than plants from seed i've grown over the past 2 years. Can someone clarify these questions for me?

1. Does a clones leaf structure like this eventually change; growing more 5 point leafs instead of all these 3 point leafs?
2. How soon do fan leaves begin to form and grow from clones?

I am finding a lot of difference between the clone and its mother grown from seed.

I've seen differences depending upon which part of the plant I clip for the clone. If I take the top for a clone it tends to grow weird for me. Straight up and single leafed. Bushy as hell, like one giant cola, but it's prone to mildew. Sides of sides I have taken sometimes only have 3 leaves, for the duration.
