Hey All!

So after much research I have purchased some products and am planning my first grow. I will update with pictures and such, but here is a general idea of what I am using. Comments, suggestions, and constructive criticism is always appreciated and encouraged! Here is a break down of my setup, please let me know what you guys think!

Seeds: Barneys Farm Liberty Haze Feminized, AK Feminized, Reserva Privada Feminized OG Kush

I plan to plant the OG and AK at once, and then if all goes well try out the Haze. Someone told me if I am not growing the seed I should keep it refrigerated?

Is there anything I am missing? Do I need more lights or these two sufficient? Someone told me I should buy another vegetative light and another flowering that way I can use two vegetative lights during that phase and two flowering lights during the flowering phase.

Any suggestions or ideas will be very much appreciated. I will be updating this thread with pictures soon! Thanks for your support

Well my working creed is "Go big to grow big". The multiple lights will produce bud that's for sure. Highly suggest one grow completed before you drop any seeds mid-way. Meaning you will learn so much from these good folks (and be harangued by a couple of monkeys) that you will change 50 things before your next. Good luck.

I dunno man, while I'm a fan of cfl's I'm not sure about that system. Since you already purchased it I guess you'll find out how good it works soon enough.. I don't think those 2 bulbs is going to be anywhere near enough for 6 plants..

I think that system would be best utilized by growing a mother and then flowering small clones under those lights.

True, I actually am only growing two plants not six =). Hopefully these two will be okay, if not I'll invest in a couple more

So the bulbs came in, 45 watts each (CFL). This kit is TERRIBLE! The drainage system leaks due to the pressure, the plastic is cheap, and parts seem like they were purchased as a dollar store. One bulb is missing, and the other bulb is defective (need to unscrew and screw in multiple times: works 1 in 100 times). Very displeased with stealth hydro, warn everyone here to stay away much easier to buy the parts yourself then struggle with their cheap parts and horrible service. Hoping to grab some bulbs soon and can post some photos!

umm I was told with this kit to just put the seed in the rockwool cube about 1/4 way in and with the tube of the bubbler up against the tube I should get a sprout within 2-7 days. Was I misinformed and should I have gone with a traditional germinating method?

Man just mist them everyday to ensure they are moist and pop. I'm surprised u even bought this system when it's so easy to make and yes everything they used is from the dollar store lol.. The res is small if it has six sites I would at least do 30 gallons.

Also definately get more lights or invest in a hps they come in all sizes and prices range from 40 to200 but well worth it.

I'm sorry to say that the kit you bought isnt the best for the money. with a little bit of your time and effort and some planning you could've spent less money and got better quality products. For example i spent $120 on two clones and two dwc 5 gallon bucket systems i made myself with really no tools required other than a razor blade some tape and maybe a nail to make a hole for the airline. The only thing i didnt buy was a light at the time because i was kinda broke. But no doubt your system will work it just needs to be refurbished with better parts as time goes buy and those break down. New lighting would be key and two plants seems like it should work just fine as long as they have enough space for each plant to develop a nice root structure. I Honestly probably would use that machine as a cloner site to root out clones which is what you will most likely do in the future as you get another setup. Then once rooted i would transplant them into 3 gallon pots full of fox farm ocean forest soil and put them on a basic Fox Farm Feeding schedule throw em in the tent and watch em grow. The thing is as mentioned earlier by someone else you need to grow big to get big buds. As time progresses you will learn more and more and find better ways to grow and ideas on making your grow better for you! Trust me, i spent loads of money and re sold equipment after trial and error and finally i have a set up im somewhat happy with. The main thing is you have the basics and you have an idea as to what your doing and how your gonna do it. Remember you need to keep the ph and ppm levels of you reservoir on check daily. You dont want to kill your plants before they flower. Good Luck :) and happy growing.

Spread open the rockwood cube can see growth in one seed, other rockwood cube does not appear to show growth yet. Am excited!

Hey so here is sprouting at about one week:

After another week and a half one of the plants is experiencing some drooping, other is growing slower but not drooping:

2 weeks in one plant is growing perfectly, other is still experiencing drooping despite having swapped places with the other (rotated lid of reservoir 180 degrees):

3 weeks in, drooping continues for one plant and not the other despite several attempts to fix (ph raise, nutrient redution, water reservoir reduction, addition of h2o2), other one still going strong:

Plant that is drooping also having some problems with the leaves (dark tinges on some, yellow leaves on some): in total I would say about 4 leaves are affected, and for each leaf the percentage affected ranges from 1-20% or so :

any opinions or comments, as always, are appreciated, thanks for looking =)
