And as far as nutes I plan on waiting until maybe 5 true sets then start at half maybe quarter strength would that be a good time to start nutes? And would GH Flora series big starter pack be good

I always love reading some of the advice given here. Take things with a grain of salt for sure...

Anyway things look pretty good for your first time. Things start slower in soil, some seeds are just not as vigorous. Transplant when there are a few nodes and a good root system. Smart pots or not, doesn't really matter. Get the biggest size you can fit in the tent comfortably.

Don't worry about the hps, you can begin flower under the mh and add the hps later. If your temps are too low from being in the garage use both, so long as they are a good way from the plant tops. Aim for 75-85 degrees. Photosynthesis doesn't stop at 83, that's rubbish. At night try to keep it above 60 or growth will slow down. They look healthy, good luck!

Thanks you guys and my temp is about 76-80 all the time as I have a heater the kicks on and off to keep room at a steady temp and I want tight dense buds that's why I planne of flowering with only hps and about throes clones my clone dude was a commercial grower for years he said throes nl5x blueberry are a verry hard genetics of mh plant only can get it from clones I'm thinking about next run grab 5 or 6 and see how they do like I said I just got to get a clone starter

If I am wrong, sorry for putting bad info out there. I read that temps above 83 stops photosynthesis. I didn't just make it up or pull it out of my ass.

i personally dont give any nutes until its ready to be topped (i always fim its better results plus many more new branches instead of jus 2)...and thats when u reach ur 5th node sprouting....giving the nutes right after a cut that way it speeds up the healing process plus boost growth

hey bro u can believe watever u want to but when u figure the height of your final pot the height of the hood and 12 inches of space between the hood and plants your 6.5 feet gets a whole lot smaller..... i think u will find people growing in tents like to have a full and even canopy ........

topping.........just snip the top out
lst.........tie the bitch down
scrog......big net u weave branches in and out of

i aint tryn to be a dick im just saying 6.5 is not really enough for a xmas tree grow
