Lol thanks Smokey but the little guy didn't make it :? and it doesn't seem like the Grape Fruit is going to sprout either so it looks like I just have 3 babies to look after. The burnt up Maui isn't too far away from being done, it's about 6 weeks and 2 days into flowering. I fed her last night with Big Bloom, Liquid Karma, and a very small dose of Tiger Bloom. Next watering will be a flush and that will probably be it. When the soil dries up a bit after the flush I'll put her to sleep for 2 days (48 hours) and then chop her down. I snapped some pics for you guys, it actually looks like I'll be getting a nice little harvest minus the big juicy main colas that are burnt up  but we live and we learn. I also snapped some pics of the babies, the smallest one is the random seed. I'll throw them into flowering either tomorrow or the next day. The biggest Maui baby has a grayish spot forming on its tip, I haven't done my research on it yet but if you guys have any idea's what it is I'm all ears (or eye's w/e.)
Anyways, have a look and tell me what you think!

Looking good! That girl pulled through pretty well and good to see some little ones on their way. Watch out for those crispy tops - I fried part of a large cola on one of my plants and it developed into bud rot without me noticing - huge disappointment.

Keep it up, looking great!

Yea ol crispy concerns me too, you may wish to consider taking anything that got burnt too much and cure it in a different jar than the less suspect buds just in case of a serious mold outbreak. Just a thought...

Tracy Morgan is a TERRIBLE actor but I've been known to laugh at his silly antics every once in a while lol. I couldn't stand him in the movie Cop Out, I hope everyone knows not to ever add him in as a lead role ever again!
Anyways,
I have her in a 3qt pot, I was thinking about transplanting her again into a 1gallon 1qt pot but I was worried about spacing issues. I'm glad that I didn't because she is filling out my box quite nicely, I have her stacked on 5" of books so I still have a little room to grow up. I'm kinda concerned that she is going to get too tall.. but on the plus side I have a sheet of plywood that I liberated from work so I can add onto the box if I ever need too. I want to lst her some more to get more light to the gimpy shoots but I don't want to stress her to much more.... anyone think it would be okay to tie down the main shoot so that I can spread out the side shoots a bit more?
A cold front blew in last night and with my closet door closed the temp dropped to a low of 65F last night, uh oh! I've read that having too much of a difference in temp from night to day can stress the plant.. will she be okay? She looks great today lots of new growth so I'm not too concerned.
OMG, so i was just reading through this grow log and I saw that other people dont like tracy morgan either, I hated him in cop out so much ahahaha, I just had to add my 2 cents, now to continue reading

Good advise hippy,

so I finished the log, I cant believe that happened to your baby, I actually burnt the shit out of the top of my main cola like a week and a half into flowering, she was never the same after that. Then I dropped a light on her the next day. Terrible feeling. If it happened during veg I coulda just topped her but its too late, she already had little nugz forming. I didnt LST or top so I was planning on the main cola being most of my harvest. Well anyway good luck on your next set of babies. They look good so far.

Thanks man! She is getting nice and fat for me, she has really swelled up over the past 2 days... And I got it, Crispy buds + not watching it closely = bad news. I chopped most of the crispy parts off, dried, cured for a couple days, and smoked.. not bad at all, not much taste though. The rest is burnt but not crispy, but they could easily get crispy with one more hot day. The little ones are doing great. I'm going to put them into flowering tomorrow. I think the FFOF soil is a bit too heavy for seedling, there is a small amount of over ferting going on but nothing too serious. I suspect they will be just fine. They are already way healthier looking and a lot larger than "ol crispy" was when she was a baby! Cant wait

Thanks HS, I didn't really think about putting them into separate containers during the curing process, duly noted! I'll put the top colas into their own container.

Baha.. glad you find my grow interesting! I hope it's helpful.. full of do's and don'ts lol. And yes Tracy Morgan is one awful!

The name of the game indeed.. Thanks LIG! I was devastated at first, I thought it was dead and was ready to scrap it but I treated her right and she is pulling through and getting nice a fat. I'm really glad I didn't just chop her down that night, woulda been terrible!

Thanks again KD, and sorry to hear that man! But we live and we learn, no more petty mistake!

Thanks for checking in guys!

Sorry I haven't been able to post for a while. I've been incredibly busy with work and I haven't had internet for the last 3 days.
Anyways, the lady was harvested on Friday. The buds never formed or filled out all the way but she was ready to come down. She was a little over 50% amber and I was able to give her one good flush before she came down. I ended up with a little under 40gs to my surprise, and that is after discarding the dried burnt buds. I was expecting maybe 20.. very happy about that. I have about 25gs of burnt nugs, pop corn buds, and sugar leafs to make hash with. I chopped off a nug about 2 weeks ago and finally smoked some today.. it was absolutely fantastic, very sticky, tasty, and a very smooth smoke. I liked it a whole lot better than the bud I got it from. The bud it came from was a dry high that really didn't get me that stoned. My bud gave me a slight dry feeling almost immediately after taking a hit, about 10 min after it hits you hard. Very heavy and eye dropping. I'm happy with it.. take a look!

P.S. I'm down to just 2 babies, the random seed I had going had a light drop on it and.. yeah.. its gone.. oops. So now I just have 2 Maui's going. I think the mutated looking one is going to turn out male, It's starting to stretch quite a bit. The pics are from 3 or 4 days ago. We'll see what happens

Nice harvest dude, lots of material to make hash with too, I made a bunch of butane honey oil with my trim last time, freaking awesome!

Butane honey oil? Sounds awesome, how did you make it? I'm trying to think of something to do with it. I don't really want to make cookies or brownies, I'd like some nice hash or oil.

Butane honey oil (BHO) is really easy to make, though can be dangerous if you're not careful...Just use the advanced search feature, and search titles only for BHO

Ah okay thanks man, I've heard the term BHO used around here before, I'll check it out!

Congrats on the harvest!!! Looks awesome
Thanks Smokey!

harvest still came out very nice
Thanks Fight! It came out a whole heck of a lot better than I thought it would. Buds are curing right now.. just waiting for them to get nice and sticky now.. I can't wait to smoke some of those nugs!

Yes sir, I chopped off a nug a couple of weeks ago.. dried and cured it. It has an odd spicy smell on the outside before you break it open, I'm positive the smell is from the dead leafs. I could smell it, as mentioned on here in the past after she got burnt up, on the yellowing/dead leafs. But when I grind it up it has a really strong sweet smell, and it taste just like it smells after grinding it up. The stone is a mellow dry high at first and then it hits you hard and heavy about 5-10 min. after toking. I like it, if I rip it hard enough it puts me right to sleep. I have trouble sleeping at night, tossing and turning, and my mind is put on over-drive as soon as I lay down every night, so its nice to have bud that helps with that. I can't wait to smoke the good/unaffected bud that is curing right now.
