Do I yes...should you no...mj is easy in a sense but VERY HARD too...look up popular soils and see what will work best for you, ( Size you need, money?) Try roots organic, fox farm but I'm warning y9u, like others have stated...indoor f grows are not cheap...so you need to start researching, and reading every article, book, we page you can find on Marijuana growing....or your going to be broke with nothing to show for it...and still have no clue what to do....I'm a give you words of wisdom don't be like a lot of these newbies on here, and post every step of the way literally take the time and search for yourself, in the end it will be more rewarding to you, bc now you know mj isn't that hard, and not to care on the small stuffDo you make your own medium?
You the man wiethe20. Good info..Do I yes...should you no...mj is easy in a sense but VERY HARD too...look up popular soils and see what will work best for you, ( Size you need, money?) Keep them, just see this as a learning grow...but trust me read man.....I'm only on my 6th grow, no where near a "good" grower in my eyes....just remember even "expert" growers learn things new on a daily basis....new information is coming out and improving....yes RIU is awsome, I wouldn't where I am at today in my garden if it wasn't for it, but I have read things until my eyes hurt and bleed! I've read the same book 3 times....you want all this information to cram in your head as fast and as much as possibleI germinated the seeds and really didn't expect it to work. I was not as prepared as much as I should have been so I'm trying to make it work and makes these plants grow. One of then is a really good color and is an inch and a half at 4 days and one of them is kind of droopy and smaller because I potted it a little late. But I'm trying to make it work
I did it backwards and I still harvested at the end, have clones of the original mother and a bunch of gear now. OP: It isn't the easiest/best route, but if you pay attention and you're not some squirrelly kid or something you'll figure it out. Research; do your own research, read a fuckton, with a measure of skeptical discernment. Yeah, good luck lol. Probably all males anyway.1 do research
2 buy equipment
3 pop seeds
you're doing it backwards.
and 5000k lights are in the green spectrum which your plants cant even see.
good luck dude
Think in terms of weeks not days, you're not going to be able to tell anything in four days. You haven't killed them, congrats but they are still feeding on the seed material. Seed starting mix will be pretty bland (not fertilized) so you'll want to feed. You're not using Miracle Grow potting soil, right? Somebody thought you were.I think they look pretty good for my first grow.
ok their seed starter probably isn't hot like their potting soil, which is probably good.Yes it is miracle grow seed starting potting soil. Why is that bad?
I don't really have a useful opinion about that yet. I use Fox Farm liquid trio, so I'm like a caveman compared to a lot of folks but it seems to be working just fine. Don't overfeed, and don't overthink it. Don't trip on pH if your water is near neutral and relatively low ppm (200ppm max dissolved solids or less, preferably <160ppm) - you can look up your municipal water data and find out a lot about the contents of it. You don't need to fret pH of water/nutes much in soil if your soil and water are in range to start with, soil is cool like that. They are bagseed. Even if they are male plants I won't be too disappointed because then I'll have basic knowledge of how to plant and maintain and have more seeds. And someone on another forum recommended the MG seed starter. What's a good plant food to use? I'm stuck between a few that I am thinking about
