hello...well ive found out the problem...it was really a heat stress, cant belive it really...need to get some more ventilation :)

the box didnt cost that much, about 100 euros for a complete setup. Ive done most of the wood work myself. New pictures will come soon ;)

have fun
really??? 28celcius doesnt sound too high, I know I normally run that high and dont have any heat stress related problems....it may sound crazy but if you arent using it try using a drop or 2 of superthrive in your water.......

yes those temps were measured on the bottom of the box...they were about 5-7 degrees higher on the top...anyway, i've unscrewed some lamps and now the flower is doing much better. Im sure it was the heat :) and my watering is only on 3 days, with fertilizers once a week. And we dont have superthrive here ;)

Good looking grow! and I really like that box too! Do you have any fans pulling air through your ventilation holes? if not, that would help get the temps down some without sacrificing lighting.

Thanks ;) I like the box also...it still needs a bit of technical improvements, but it should work when its done. Right now I have 3 fans, two are pushing air out on top and one pulling in at bottom. I think Ill add a few more so I get a better air flow. Im still really experimenting with this box ;) Thanks for all the advice and good wishes ;)

ok here are the updates...the plant was quite heavily damaged, but it seems like it stopped now. I've cut away all the dead leafs so more light can penetrate to the buds...buds seem to be getting along fine last few days, as growth before seemed to be stunned quite a bit. Anyway...here are the pictures, I know its not the nicest of plants, but I still want to see what becomes of it at the end ;) With this specimen experiments I can do a better growth later on ;)

IMHO you may want to reverse that and 2 in and 1 out rule of thumb is intake should be 2-3 times the exhaust,

hello guys..

i just got a PH meter and took a PH of my water. Its quite high at 7,5. I was using this water for a while now, so the PH of the soil must be off too. I adjusted with some vinegar so that the PH of the water is now 5,5 so i can compensate a bit with the soil. I've bought this meter because my plant didn't completly improve. I hope i get it better next time as this one is not that far from finish anymore. I will post some pictures in a few days as i have to find the charger for my camera :)
Wish me luck :)

Hey bro not to tell you somthing you may already know, if you bought a digital PH meter they need to be calibrated. I got some PH 4.0 Solution off of ebay for like 10 bucks or somthing its PH is no kidding 4.0 on the dot and my meter was off by 3 PH so may want to take get some if you never calibrated your meter. Just a though! :D

First time I looked at your thread I didnt see your plant, but yeah its a nice setup for when the plants bigger! you need the lights closer to the plant with cfls about 2 - 3 inches at least? :eyesmoke:

Don't worry about it. The main thing is that you learn something from this grow. My CFL citral is looking very leafy on the main cola:wall:. Another positive is that you didn't kill her. big plus.
