I recently started an out door grow, I planted 150 plants of sugar Shack.
in two different locations. This is my frist attempt to grow so plz try and help me out. I started off my planting 100 on the side of a hill right inthe ground..well 3 weeks later They werent getting enough sun and were rotting to death. So I trimmed some branches around the plants and left it for another week.. When I came back a week later.. all 100 of them were gone..eaten! wow ! so this time i brought up 50 more, planted them about 400 yeards away in the direct sunlight, build a fence around them and let them do their thing... Well it turns out the soils is a bit to sandy and Ive lost about 15 of them so far due to poor soil conditions the other 35 are going ok, I put top soil all around the plants and blended them in.. Well this week IN bc its been 30+ degrees every day and we lost about another 5 more due to heat... I went to a local hydroponic shop and the guy said give them TONS of water and try and build shade for them.. Is there any wayh to keep the soil moist while Im not there? Ill be going up about twice a week and watering them.. He also gave me this Organic Nutrient called "flora blend"
and told me this would aid it through ther intense heat wave we have encountered... ill post pics once I figure out how to do it... but any tips would be appreciated thanks
