So i started off my first grow on August 18th its the 26th today and They hav grow a good bit. Im unsure of the sexes. I have a 13w CFL (thats what it says) and a 75w clamp light. Its getto rigged to the max (super low budget) I am about to buy another clamp light and put another 13w CFL (unless advised not too)

The plant to the left is planted in a small clear seedling cup about 1.5" tall and the plants on the right was accidently planted next to each other. I dropped a seed in the soil and it didnt seem to work so i dropped the other one in and about 4 days ago i noticed a second sprouting. Main questions for you guys is when sould i move these babies to bigger pots. I can see the roots of one plant in the picture to the right at the bottom. The tallest seedling is about 2 inches and the other two are are 1.8". I have tem on 24 hour lighting with a fan on low. Let me know if i need to do anything differently!

you need alot more light those 13 watter will not cut it atleast get some 23 watters and you container shouldnt be clear bad for the roots

i used cfl's with the clamp fixture. i used 4 23watt (6400k durnig veg then switched to 2700k's for flowering)cfls. i lined my grow space and aluminum foil shiny side out. i'm at week 8 of budding and my plant is 3' tall and got some healthy buds on it. there are better lights out there but cfl's will work.

Clear cups are not a good idea just so you know next time. Roots like absolute darkness to grow at a fast pace like you want them to do if you want a good harvest. Screw the crappy 13watt lights. You need to go find the highest wattage CFL's you can find and use them instead...13watter ones suck for light penetration. You can find 40watt ones at home depot. Do not use aluminum foil, it sucks ass for even light dispersal. Do yourself a favor, go spend 97 cents at walmart and get a "Space Blanket" from the outdoor department (camping). This is mylar, which is way better at reflecting light if you keep it as flat as possible with no bubbles/bends in it. Otherwise, use flat white paint. And you are going to need a fan for exhaust if heat starts building up....

no more 13 watters,24/0 is cool if you don't have a timer tho i suggest 18/6.My local Ace hardware sells 23w 6500k and 2700k for $1 each does yours? A few of those will be sufficient enough for 2 plants until flowering.I wouldn't buy the cfl's that have higher wattage when i can get 2 23w and socket adapters for the same price as a 40W cfl

You're good to go for vegg for a little while, but you're gonna want 6+ bulbs per plant for flowering to get more than some popcorn bud...
